favorite places to experience the uniqueness of the town i live it: The Eugene Saturday Market (celebrating their 30th birthday this year), the rose garden/alton baker park, and the downtown bus station. you can't spell suburbs without bus rubs- and boy is that true at the bus station. :D

3 favorite beaches-Clearwater Beach, Miami Beach and Madeira Beach

Harry Chapin's ~ Cats In The Cradle....Heard it for the first time around 1974...my son was born in 1981....I knew for 7 years before he was born the kind of father I was not going to be!

Just As I Am Without One Plea ~ Sang by our church choir as I took communion one Sunday morning in 1983...as I thanked God for the gift of forgiveness He had given me...the power of the words to this song held me like no other song ever has.

Amazing Grace ~ sitting with my family in our church at my father's memorial service, a young lady sang this song....I can't express the feeling of hope this song gave me through a difficult time in my life.
