Please don't let it be dirty underwear! I think they can come up with something better than that.
I bought daffodils a couple of weeks ago in support of the American Cancer Society. I got a bunch with a cute Boyd's bear. I was at work and was very busy so I stuck them in the fridge. Then I forgot all about them. I found them a week and a half later... all drooped over. I cut off part of the stems and put them in water. The next day, they were standing up looking all fresh and beautiful. (even after a week and a half in the fridge) LOL Resilient creatures!
The sun is out today! Amazing!!! Yesterday was really cold. My 14 year old daughter still wore a tank top when we went shopping, while I had a long sleeved shirt and jacket. I guess we both have different priorities right now! Ha!
I was looking at my tulips yesterday and they are just starting to send up the flowers. If we could possibly have some sun and some warmer weather, maybe I'd have some color!!! Come on, Sun!!!
Wow! All the daffodils are sold - two bunches to me. What cheery flowers they are! I am going to tally up the cash and close the books. Then I'll write thank-you's to my volunteers.
Try not to do 68 more posts this afternoon because I really, really want to be trheadkiller.
Hmmm.....I could close the thread when it gets into the 490s and do the final posts myself but that would be evil and an abuse of power.
Susie Lee done fell in love, she planned to marry Joe. She was so
happy 'bout it all, she told her pappy so.
Pappy told her, "Susie gal, you'll have to find another. I'd just
as soon yo' ma don't know, but Joe is yo' half brother."
So Susie put aside her Joe and planned to marry Will. But after
telling pappy this, he said, "we got more trouble still. You can't
marry Will, my gal, and please don't tell yo' mother, but Will and
Joe, and several mo' I know is yo' half brothers."
But mama knew and said, "my child, just do what makes yo' happy.
Marry Will or marry
Joe; you ain't no kin to pappy."
