Don't be giving EZ and Bill any ideas.
Alas, tis sad to be only armed with an empty bucket and hoodwinking, LOL.

My guess is that Gary is out trying to remove the sulphur from Chinese wallboard, a real problem that has been found in Florida.

Operator - What are you driving since your rig lost its transmission?
  • Big winter storm here in Colorado. Actually not bad where I am, but all of the companies I work with in Denver are closing due to the weather. I guess winter isn't ready to give up just yet!
  • MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! Here are some pictures for you.... the snow just started here about 45 minutes ago. And we have a GREAT BIG 23 degrees!!!

  • Karen, that is exactly why I live in California, I was born and raised in Minnesota , I am very familiar with snow.
  • Karen... no, no, no.... tell that snow to go. It is SPRING. SPRING. SPRING!!!!

Oh, and please don't send the snow my way. I am so done with it... well until November sometime. Yup, it can't come back until November. Not a day earlier. LOL!
  • The Gov. has declared the State of Colorado a State of Emergency. Have called out the National Guard! Think I'll stay in and keep warm!
  • Currently it is 86 degrees and sunny. No snow (obviously) but we might be doing a little shake and bake!
  • Oh my goodness Karen... stay in dear, have a big ole mug of hot chocolate, and dig yourself into a good book.
Is it still snowing? How much do you think you have so far?
  • Yes, it is still snowing but I don't know how much so far---- the wind is blowing so bad that some parts are clear and some are drifted. It will be interesting to get out with the camera in the morning and also see how much we actually have. Right now we have a big 4 degrees!!! Good night for Gray's Anatomy and a nice fire in the fireplace.
  • KAREN and DIANE My God-daughter wants me to come to Longmont in April for the first birthday of her kiddo....me thinks I'll skip it...sun should be shining here....but then she calls and says..."Please oh please Uncle Gary come...that is all the gift Kyle needs"...hard choices.

BILL I did hear about the drywall situation in FLA. so far A-OK here.

BARGOO I had no idea you lived north of me...truth....Gary is a liar

ALLISON didn't even feel a speed bump here from the last quake

Miss TNT who is calling who a freak?

    JULIA and PEARY funny jokes

RUTH what are the chances of shutting this mess down?

RONNI Angie just goes to a spare bedroom if I snore....or um....tooot
  • Wow, the worst of the storm musta jumped right over us. It's cold, but not a lot of snow.

Just got back from getting my seeds and various starter stuff for my veggie garden. The ladies at Albertson's gave me 3 of the great big cake holders for $.99. I really didn't wanna have to eat that much cake just to get cheap green houses. Gonna do the Square Foot Garden. Should be purty cool. Also, gonna plant a few extras for my neighbors since I was a total butt at Xmas and didn't do much. 'Course still gotta wait till after Mom's Day for outside planting to avoid frost. We often get a sneaky little Seek and Destroy Freeze about that time. Gotta remember to save all my milk jugs just in case.

BTW, EZ, I was calling you da freak. Oh Yeah. You know it. Won't even go see your God-Grandson on his birthday. You can't refuse a request on his birthday. Ain't you never seen The Godfadda. It's an offer you can't refuse.
  • TGIF all!!!!!

Long week, long week... glad it is over. Well now onto the weekend plans. Those shall be 100 x's better then the week I've just had.
  • Hey, Operator, do I remember that you're originally from Wyoming? I just heard on the news that Wyoming is the #1 best state to live in (best living conditions or something like that) and Iowa ended up at #2 (which they say is up from last year). I still don't like Iowa, but this'll give you more ammunition for your Utah buddies, anyway.

Have you seen the photos from Fargo and other cities along the Red River? Bad, bad situation-pray for those in the flood zones. They were showing the floods at the same time that they had snow and almost blizzard conditions in some places yesterday. Some towns were even using explosives to break up ice jams in the river hoping it would start to flow again.
  • Well, Thankgoodness we didn't get all the snow they forecasted! We only ended up with about 4 inches here. But just North of here they ended up with about 18 inches. And now we have blue skies and sunshine! Not warm though--- 25 degrees!!
