I'm being a whiny baby. My husband is gone today. He's been out of town since Thursday. I miss him. And I have about 12 more days to go!!!!!!!!! This will be the longest we've been apart in 7 years.

wow that would be terrible. i know i act a lot of the time like my hubby is a pain - and well he is - but i can't imagine being apart from him for that long. i wouldn't even want to really be apart from him for one night.
valentines day is stupid anyway. we didn't do anything - except i made him dinner and his brother came over and hung out. but it's his birthday so i won't give him too much crap for it. it should be his day, not mine.
did you guys at least get to call each other and chat for a while today?

Yeah, he gets to call everyday. Today (Sunday) they aren't even having him work so he's out doing something. I just called him and he said he was at a planetarium. He'll call me back later I'm sure.

Count me in for a bittersweet Valentine's Day...
I have a lovely boyfriend, but he's in Texas and I'm in Maryland, so we're apart the whole semester except for breaks (like spring break or Thanksgiving) ... although I'm very excited that he's flying up here on the 26th to spend my birthday weekend with me . But to make being alone on Valentine's Day worse, someone apparently stole my tulip garden that my boyfriend had ordered for me. I live in an apartment and FedEx claims that they delivered it and just left it on my doorstep Friday afternoon while I was at school. They're supposed to make me sign for stuff, but they didn't so, yeah. I did get a whole bunch of sweets from him too that actually got delivered (and he got a refund from the flower company), lol, but it just irks me that someone stole my flowers! I mean, wth?! Haha.
