  • I was sure I was in here this morning. It must have been a brain fart.

Not feeling really chatty these days - too many trials and tribulations around me - the curse of being a good listener!

Anyhow, spring is definitely coming - the Big Melt starts tomorrow! The frassing crows are back and the male goldfinches at the feeder are turning from olive to gold. Tomorrow the rink in my dog yard will turn to a lake and I'll be on wet paw duty. No griping about that when I examine the alternatives.

466? Where's our statistician to tell us if we're on track?
  • Is he all worn out because this is the 7th thread?
  • Started Threadkiller VII 2/14. It's taken 21 days to get to ~450 posts.

Threadkiller VI was 14 days start to finish. Yes, we've become slugs.

Oh NO! I hope I've been pulling my weight.

    Wait, bad expression!!!

Phew! I've posted 3 more times on VII than VI. I'm ahead of myself. Keep up you Slugs.

Speaking of being a good listener -

Today I had to console a Dallas Cowboys football fan who had just learned that the team had not signed the super star receiver Terry Owens.

I expected him, of course, to be devastated. Knew he had to talk it out.

Well he did need to talk it out. But he was elated. Best thing to ever happen to his team. Called T.O. a divisive guy. Team doesn't need him.

[Still expecting points for being a good listener.]
  • My favorite bumper sticker...
    It's not PMS I'm always a b____h!
  • Now that is a good bumper sticker, Bargoo.

This thread is STILL alive.... come on slugs.
  • Still clinging to life.
  • Killer strategy
Quote: 'Tain't over 'til the fat lady sings ...
Talk about an aggressive strategy, WOW.

Now anybody who dares to compete with you to be the thread killer will be labeled "the fat lady," LOL.
  • Well, if it's a guy, we can arrange a sex change. I know several trans-gendered people and can get references to surgeons.

Let's see what today brings. We really should aim to close this when the time changes. (I have no idea why I think that except I am compulsively neat about the Universe.)
  • 5:30 here....waiting for bil to come....truck warming up...then off to work...yipee...yipee..

I expect a THREAD to die before I get home....
  • SPRING BREAK IS UPON ME!!! well, technically I have a class at 10:20, but due to my laziness and not packing, I "have" to miss it so I can pack and keep on schedule.
  • Hi All!!!!
