Willow I like the fit of the Jr size jeans And some of the tops. I am 33 also....But I agree that some of them are to young for us. (But I wanna wear them anyways when I am able because I was heavy when I was younger and didn't get to wear any cool clothes LOL!) |

I thought that when i lost all my weight, I would shop Jr's but I watch a lot of What Not To Wear and that got me out of that mind set. Jr's doesn't do 2 things, make room for hips or make room for boobs. I have had 3 kids and my bra size is 38DDD so they won't work for me heehee. I did become pickier about wear I shop. I shop a Fashion Bug, Kohls and New York and Company. Oh and Ross Dress For Less. Those are my favorite places for cute Misses clothes that don't look like they are for an old lady. |
Age: 22 (female)
Height: 5 foot 7 inches Weight: 155 pounds Size normally 10, but 8 on a very good day :D |
Update: one month ago, here's what I said:
39, 5'7 3/4ths", 268, very loose 24 (really a 22) High weight, 360, 32 top 30 bottom Lowest adult weight, @ 180, very loose 16 (really a 14) Well, it's now one month later and my scale hasn't moved but I'm a size smaller! Wassup widdat?? 39, 5'7 3/4ths", 268, 22 bottom, 18/20 top. My jeans size at Lane Bryant is 4 Red. My measurements are 49 1/2 - 40 - 50. |
48 yrs old
143 lbs 5' 9" Size 6s & 8s Hourglass shape with pudge |

I'm 5'7" 183 size 14 I also have dense bones...which weigh more. I'm 4 inches taller, 8 pounds less and wear the same size...WHY???? :( (maybe because I'm also 20 years older??...NOT FAIR age should not have anything to do with it!!!) :) |
I actually don't think age has anything to do with it. I'm 39 years old. 18 years ago I weighed 22 lbs less than I do today, and I was 1 size larger in the bust/hips and 2 sizes larger in the waist. I think building muscle mass is the difference. (I also do very low carb and don't eat processed foods.)
Size-to-weight ratio is weird. I am extremely big-boned. I'm only 5'8" but I wear a size 13 shoe and I need men's extra-large gloves. (When I buy shoes at Payless all the other ladies on the size 13 aisle are well over 6 feet tall!) I'll never be considered "slim" regardless of how much weight I lose. I'm brawny. And I carry a lot of weight in my legs; they are enormous. |

I'm 31, at 201 lbs and I wear size 18 pants.
Even at 160 lbs, I was a 16, but the 16 at the regular sized shops.. What's up with the variation in sizes? |

At my last annual pap/mammo exam, the doctor ordered a DEXA scan that measures bone density. My mother and my grandmother both had osteoporosis and developed it before menopause, so I was tested....so far so good! |

I had a full physical about a month or so ago. When the lab results came back there was something there that said "bone density" so I just wondered how they knew that from blood testing. It sounds like you had something more thorough though. |
