240

...260 to go.

OK, I bought a can of "Rotel Mexican Lime and Cilantro diced tomatoes."

Now I just have to plan to make that recipe.

KimL1214 01-24-2009 06:00 PM

JuliaDH ~ Sounds like she may need more than just one person helping her... you're a good person to be sticking with it though!

I could really go for some popcorn right now.

It is! Angie says that is the beauty of it. It is plain and simple...we both love it. Just make sure you have enough chicken in it. Angie frys corn tortillas (the only thing she frys in the house except tacos on occasion) then cuts them into little strips...we just add them as we eat the soup. She also makes a few cheese quesadillas too to go with the soup and cuts them into quarters. Great on a cool evening.

I hope you like them BILL. Angie used to use the regular Rotel but by accident she used the lime/cilantro one for the soup and we just stuck with it, liking it better in the tortilla soup.

Well come on over! Seriously, Angie just made a bowl for herself.

LOL!

Angie "snacked" on the firemen earlier...personally I don't see what they have that BILL and I don't....really, I don't see it....."Ang.....ANG....ANG!! I can't find my glasses!"

Operator265 01-24-2009 07:11 PM

Wow Julia. Sounds kinda rough. You can always come let it out with us. Gary-Go get J some soup. Ruth-Scotch Tall, Stat. I'll go find my lampshade. Hattie-Check my post for spelling.

Crap!!!! I gotta get ready for work.

EZMONEY 01-24-2009 07:19 PM

Thanks for the errr, explanation. :smug:

Already almost halfway to 500. :(

Operator265 01-25-2009 05:55 AM

HEY! WAKE UP EVERYBODY!!!!

I'm bored.

BillBlueEyes 01-25-2009 06:17 AM

250

... 250 to go.

Half way there.

G'morning Operator, ya waking up are just getting off work?

Operator265 01-25-2009 06:33 AM

Hi Bill. 2 more hours to shift change then I go home.

Ruthxxx 01-25-2009 06:46 AM

'Morning! The dogs let me sleep in until 6:30. What angels!

JuliaDH 01-25-2009 06:50 AM

I'm up and off to help the Lady!

Operator265 01-25-2009 07:27 AM

Got some good doggies there Ruth. Mine sleeps in the living room now cause he licks and chews on my ears when I'm trying to sleep.

BillBlueEyes 01-25-2009 07:56 AM

Inquiring minds?

Operator - you got internet in your truck? Or is it connected to your blasting terminal?

[Wondering which one worries me most.]

WebRover 01-25-2009 09:18 AM

So now in addition to dealing with drivers on their cell phones, their blackberries, texting, shaving, reading the newspaper, smoking, spilling their hot coffee in their laps, and disciplining their children (or letting them run wild) I also have to watch out for ones that are browsing the internet and typing in entries on bulletin boards. But that's ok, cause Operator is only doing it while driving the LARGEST possible vehicle on any road and while in control of BLASTING operations with EXPLOSIVES. No problem. :o

srmb60 01-25-2009 09:36 AM

Morning!

EZMONEY 01-25-2009 09:49 AM

Good Morning ALL ~

Thought I'd check in here before church just to keep BILL from having a day off :)

I'm with you WEB....not so sure our little Miss TNT should be surfing and driving.....not thinkin' it's a great idea.....

Hattie22 01-25-2009 10:03 AM

I was just going back a few posts and saw that Operator's pic got taken off. OOOOOO not allowed.

She must have posted it when she had her head in her lunch bag.

Operator265 01-25-2009 10:40 AM

Don't worry Web. Cat 797s are larger, I only drive a 793.:D JK, I only post and read when I'm parked at a shovel or on a delay. I'm actually one of the biggest supporters of laws against phoning, etc. in cars. My kids know if I'm nice enough to even answer while driving to state quickly if copious amounts of blood are involved and whether or not I should pull over right away or if I can wait until I get to my destination to call them back.;) I'm considering getting one of those cell phone interrupters for all my vehicles.

Bill-I blast on day shift and drive on graves. Never blast at night. MSHA gets all flaky bout dat.:dizzy: So does the ATF.

Sorry Hat. I guess I need to actually read those "Terms of Agreement" and find out what I did.:nono: Of course, I suspect Mr. EZ may be behind this removal.:dz:

Well, I gotta get some rest. The little flake who drives my truck on day shifts is trying to poison me with Simple Green. I really do appreciate the fact that he cleans the cab. But, does he honestly think he has to use full-strength concentrated industrial strength degreaser to clean dust?:tired: ****, you're supposed to cut this stuff 50-1 to clean a kitchen.

Oh well, tonight is Friday. Hopefully, the Aleve helps this headache and I can get thru one more shift. Maybe by the time I wake up my nose and mouth will no longer taste and burn from Simple Green.:barf:

LOVE Y'ALL!!!!:grouphug:

Ruthxxx 01-25-2009 11:02 AM

My life is so boring compared to Operator's. I may get out my Weed Devil to melt some ice this afternoon. ** Sigh **

BillBlueEyes 01-25-2009 02:28 PM

Long even by Utah standards

Given that today is Sunday that's one looooooooong shift, LOL.

[Note to self: You might want to remember Cat753, AN/FO, and no demonstrated turn-the-other-cheek personality before you challenge the duration of her shifts.]

Well actually Miss Hattie and Miss TNT Angie had it removed....something about our wedding pictures should be kept a bit more personal.

I asked her to have the firemen removed....she just lauged and said "Yeah right"

There's a bigger vehicle. :faint:

Glad to hear you only post & read while parked. :cp:

Operator265 01-25-2009 05:53 PM

Actually, Ruth, this is one of the most boring jobs on the planet. Endless hours of mind numbing boredom broken up by moments of shear terror. At least with blasting I get to move and think. Then, when all the work is done, blow something up.

Operator265 01-25-2009 05:57 PM

Oh yeah, Web. We also have the Komatsu 930's out there that are bigger and hold 50 ton more. I don't like them b/c they slide easily with little water on the road.

JuliaDH 01-25-2009 09:41 PM

Sometimes...I think its soooooo hard to follow a comment made by Operator. ;) Its like being on a talent show after the excellent act that got a standing "O" and sucking! :o:p:D

EZMONEY 01-25-2009 09:50 PM

Why JULIA I also find it hard to "follow" Miss TNT's comments...especially after her graveyards!

And by the way that was a hilarious comment! You are a funny lady!

Operator265 01-25-2009 11:42 PM

Oh yeah, graveyard psycosis does wonders for your personality.

At least I don't SUFFER from insanity.......

I ENJOY every freaking minute of it!!!

BillBlueEyes 01-26-2009 04:01 AM

270

...130 to go.

Operator265 01-26-2009 05:10 AM

Me thinks Bill may have a little OCD when it comes to even numbers.

srmb60 01-26-2009 05:51 AM

Morning!

Slashnl 01-26-2009 08:39 AM

Well, you all were busy while I was offline yesterday. We went duck/goose hunting since it was the last day. Coming out of the canyon... after a long, steady rain... we got stuck in the mud. I stayed in the truck while my husband put the chains on. Too bad I don't know how to do that! ha!

JuliaDH 01-26-2009 09:06 AM

Diane - Did you come home with a bird to roast?

PearFreak 01-26-2009 10:22 AM

Gooooooood Monday Morning Everyone!!!!!!!!

It's a chilly one here today, single digits and soon to be in the negs.

JuliaDH 01-26-2009 10:28 AM

I am folding socks! I really really serverely dislike matching socks! The living room looks like "Miss TNT" set off an explosive in my mountain of socks!

PearFreak 01-26-2009 10:33 AM

Julia, she must of went to your house after mine, as mine loked like that last week, as I had a huge basket of socks waiting to be matched. I err... yeah matched all of them. LOL!

Operator265 01-26-2009 10:40 AM

Little Miss TNT don't match socks after doing laundry.:snooty: She buys the same socks all the time so she don't have to.;) You see two socks around here, they match.

JuliaDH 01-26-2009 10:52 AM

I wish I could do that but DS#1 & DS#2 dont have the same size feet. Then the is little miss fusspot diva daughter who thinks white socks are a bore. DH & I are easy to match. I try getting them to help match while we watch a movie. But I did not have the laudry done in time for movie night! Poor me! HAHA! Every morning "Moooooomm I cant find any socks." At least I know they are in the drawers and I dont have to say anything but "Open your eyes". Agh I now sound like my mom!
