Take a boneless chicken breast--one per person (and it can be frozen) and place on pan with sides (like a jelly roll pan)--spray with Pam first cover with 2-4 T salsa Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes Take out and put 2 T shredded cheese on top and place in oven until cheese melts Serve with salad or steamed broccoli |

http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/n...rs/firemen.jpg Yummy!!! :hungry::drool: Now, y'all think about that before you go to bed tonight. |

I did go to bed. Now I'm up and getting ready for work. Graves doncha know.
|
Well, now I'm gonna have to come back to these pages this weekend and put some feedbag on. These recipes look good.
By "weekend" I mean my days off. Who cares about the rest of the world. IT'S ALL ABOUT ME!!!:encore: |
Chicken Tortilla Soup Recipe
Saute sliced carrots, celery, onion in olive oil add 1 can Rotelle diced tomatoes with lime and cilantro add 3 to 4 cups of chicken broth add 2 - 3 chicken breasts simmer about 20 minutes or until chicken is cooked remove chicken, shread it, and put it back into pot serve soup garnished with fresh chopped cilantro and tortilla strips/chips You can use a rotisserie chicken if you like. When I do, I add it about 5 minutes before serving. |
OK, I'm off to find Rotelle diced tomatoes with lime and cilantro.
It just sounds good. I take it that the new non-topic is for all of us to be concerned with da Operator's sleep cycle. Is she getting enough sleep? Is she properly shifting from day to night shifts? Dose she go to bed when she declares she's going to bed. This could keep us busy for a while. |
Gee whiz. Where is everybody? I'm lonely. I have abandonment issues, ya know.
|
No Rotelle 'maters up here but I am pretty good about substituting. Lime and cilantro, OK. Anything else?
As to Operator, I'm concerned about her digging graves at night. Does she wear garlic? |
Morning!
|
What's this about Operator digging graves- Yeeepers, that is Scary.
|
Operators just got up from an unscheduduled nap. I love weather delays!!!! You people would be amazed at the weird positions I can get into on this haul truck. Laid out across the console with my head IN my lunchbag, one foot caught in the steering wheel, the other wedged between the seat and the door. Thank heavens I woke up about five minutes before they opened the road. If one of these freaks would have had to wake me up, that picture would have been on every cell phone in the mine by the time I got on the bus out at the end of shift. Drool and all!
Scuse me now. I gotta rub the thermos imprint outta my face and clean my truck before shift change. |

Da Omnipotent Operator
First Gary's confused about about whether Operator was in bed or not.
Then it's whether she's asleep or not. Then it's whether she's at work or not. Then it's whether she's asleep at work or not. Now I wonder if she's posting from her 100 ton truck in the middle of the night while asleep at work. Or not. "Inquiring minds want to know." |
And to think they allow her to handle :bomb: explosives :bomb:

You are all the greatest! Love getting up to read! Wish I could be more humorous...but to stressed right now to even get my shirt on the right way (inside out & backwards).
(Reminder to self fix before going out!) Also just noticing the little spell check...hmmm anybody download that tool? |
Julia! I have NEVER noticed the spell check until you just mentioned it. Wow. I am so unobservant!
Operator, did you get some of this storm that's going through Colorado right now? We had rain overnight... a lot of rain! My hubby's uptight because now we have puddles all over out here (I live out in the country). Makes it hard to feed the animals when you have to wade through the mud and water puddles! |
Oh, forgot to add... Julia, anything we can do to help you de-stress?? Can't have you walking around with shirts inside out and backwards!

Ok.. I give up..Where is the spell check tool?
That firemen recipe was soooo yummy! Thanks! Opereator: You are just TOO funny!:rofl: I am concerned as are others that your regular or irregular sleep patterns are off. Do you really have a lunch when you are working graves? Wouldn't it be breakfast or dinner? JuliaDH: Feel better! No stressing out! So what if you dress backwards and inside out. It will be a conversation starter for sure and you might even start a new trend. OH...That has already been done. Remember when shirts used to be made with the seams on the outside? LOL! |
Hey Julia. Remember this. And she's one of Y'all's.
http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/n...n3_350x435.jpg Must be a Canuck type thing there. And you peoples is worried bout me. |
Operator~ Talent with a lunch bag... HAHAHAHA
Thanks for all the dinner ideas! Unfortunately my bf had ordered pizza when I got home and I gave in. I definetely plan on trying the chicken tonight though! Pipes busted at BFs parents apartment building last night, sorry I missed all the yelling and the ceiling caving in on the guy next door while he was in the shower... 10 outside right now Celine kinda reminds me of MJ in that pic... scary |
Gary~thank Angie for the recipe. Sounds too easy!
|
Thanks Y'all. Just trying to find balance with home and new job. Lady I am aiding has absentee hubby and daughter has own life. Lady does not have enough people hired to do the job and now is asking me for more than I am able to commit. But I am sad, when she says that she does not want to live, angery that her family does not put her as priority. And my family has been spoilt with me being home full time for 8 years. They are struggling with me being gone 3 hrs here and there thru the day and most of the weekend etc. Just keep up the funnys then I will have something to look foward too! And that is the end of my downer post!
