as far as the previous answer - a "grinder" is what east coast people call a submarine (Subway type) of sandwich. But hot grinders are baked and wayyyyy better than any submarine sandwich from a chain. At least I think that's what Pearfreak was referring to. Now I'm craving a meatball grinder from Midway Pizza 2,000 miles away

I had a vision of a meat grinder in someones kitchen... I've lived on the east coast for 3 years but never seen that. I haven't been to many sandwich shops though.
