I turned 21 and a$$bite, husband at the time, took his mother out for dinner instead of me. A friend of ours arranged for a babysitter and took me to the Ike and Tina Turner concert.

I was 5 years old. Probably hoping that Santa would bring me a new Barbie doll. Couldn't wait until next year when I could go to school like my big brother. Wishing that Santa would swap out annoying big brother for a cool little sister :devil:

I was in 7th grade and completely in love with this one boy. Brian M. I remember listening to the song and totally feeling helpless with my unrequited love.

1968 my friends were starting to dabble in drugs. I was appalled and scared that I would get picked up by the police. There were a few years in my life that set the tone for adulthood - 1968 was one of them. Also very good music!

I became a teen-ager! Discovered girls were good for other things besides kick-ball ;) Not that I did anything with them at 13...but those "feelings" set the tone for my future :)

I was 16 and went on a trip to Toronto with a friend. Went to my very first rock concert (we don't get them where I live) which was Bon Jovi! We were the envy of all the kids back home!
