Oh, Bargoo, you're right!

But people with bumpy heads just don't look good bald.

So my hair--it's straight to begin with but I flat iron it to make it stay put. It looked just fine after I dried it yesterday so I skipped the flat iron. When I got to work I realized that some of the ends were no longer staying put and were flipping out rather than staying straight. That's what started the comment. Anyway, I flat ironed it and it looks better today. And it's still too short for any kind of pony tail (but that's what I'm striving for).

My husband would be so happy if I just had long, straight, one-length hair. But even though it seems like it would be easy to do, I think it is a pain. My hair is still longish, but I could not do the one length look.

Gary, how did you survive the 80's with all the women (and some men) with big hair, big curls, and hairspray?

I think my real answer is some are, some aren't. There's some shaved heads out there that'd be much better covered up.
And some of us may not get to make the choice. (Actually my avatar was painted some years ago; I have less hair than that.)

Wondering about a comb over. Do they make men look younger?

Younger? Sillier, perhaps. Just be sure to stay out of the wind.

Actually I have been meaning to ask you something, would you mind turning your head so I can see the other side? I want to check your ear.

Well Colorado D, I was married for all of the 80's.....although she moved out in Oct. of 89....so I wasn't looking at women...both of us had long straight black hair then.

As you like, LOL, BillBlueEyes

But it was a cold day so hair's not visible under the fur hat.

Good one, Bill.

My 14 yo daughter told me that there are a couple of boys at school who shaved their legs, too. Is this a new trend? Bill, Gary... what do you think? Need new razors?

Alas, I've been to the Senior Prom, and aren't working that hard on my hotness factor lately. If it's a trend, I missed it. Gary, on the other hand, lives in the land where trends originate. Look forward to his response.

Not that's just a bit personal, but here's the real story. I thought that Rachel collected body parts, which was why I gave her my ear lobe to keep, with the admonition, "Guard this object carefully." People have said some nasty things about Rachel, which aren't true. A girl has a right to make a living best she can, and I loved her, I mean, as much as I loved anyone. Except of course Theo.

Thumbs up 330 ...

170 to go.

Now, back to the topic of this thread (which isn't food porn, or vampires, or the shaving of legs). I might note that none of my responses above were on topic.

And where is Operator while all this horseplay is consuming bandwidth? Hath she no responsibility for staying on path?

[Note to self: you'd be more compelling if you could remember the topic.]
