Our old laptop has been having issues so we are looking at newer laptops. We figured since the HD wars were won by Blu-Ray that we'd get a laptop with a Blu-Ray drive. HP appears to have HD laptop monitors with blu-ray drives and you can also get an HDTV tuner (with remote) as well.

I'm not sure if any other laptop brands are offering HD monitors but does anyone have one? Any experiences?

Sorry, haven't heard of any other brands - but I'd assume that all the big computer companies will soon catch up with BR technology, right?

I'm pretty sure, come to think of it - that Apple have HD monitors.
Also - Dell makes them, but I haven't heard great reviews about their products. Plus, Macs tend to handle multimedia applications much better than PCs in my experience. I worked with a PC and Mac on the same project (using Adobe InDesign, Dreamwever, Flash and some other programs) and the Mac was much more comfortable and efficient to use.
