Don't ask me why but Fred is an extremely popular name for Hamsters, goldfish and tropical fish! I have a hard time thinking of it for a dog.

My daughter had a black lab/newfie mix named Nipper. Needless to say he was a nipper as a puppy and it stuck.

Lots of cute names here for sure. Our two favorite male dogs were Bogart..(Bogie), a golden and Casey an Irish setter.

Sounds like he is full of "pepper and spice".

Thinking about the names, he doesn't look like a bear or a wolf.. perhaps when he's bigger he might, he's just so underweight right now... but he sure plays like them! He does look like a Tucker, or even a Johnny (perhaps too my brother had black hair!)...
