Angry Don't Tell Me To Drink Water!

I already know it's the best thing for me

Here is my situation. In recent years I pretty much drank coffee and water during the day then beer and water...mostly beer, when I got home.

Since I have slowed my beer intake down to next to nothing and I am not looking to replace those calories I have been drinking.....

Coke 0 ~ A lot of Crystal Light, tea and punch ~ Diet Pepsi Caffeine Free

Getting tired of these....

What is it that you like and drink?

I'm not a big water drinker. But I love to drink iced tea! I make mine in a Mr. Coffee machine and can drink about a pot of it a day. Usually it is 1/3 caff to 2/3 decaf and I like to add a flavored tea bag to the mix too. Gimme just about any flavor (except herbal - BLECH!)

I also like to drink diet sodas on occasion, but they have to have Splenda in it, not aspartame!

I drink water all through out the day, I feel like a water balloon because I drink sooooo much. I like to mix it up by having a diet pepsi or diet 7-up every once in a while. But, i LOVE these Blackberry-Raspberry carbonated waters the my grocery store carries (Safeway, its their "brand"), they have 0 calories and 0 sodium, which is perfect when I need something carbonated but don't want the extra sodium intake.

I second berry carbonated water! It's like a yumm-o soda. Except I completely gave up soda, and since then anything carbonated makes me hiccup a LOT! The boyfriend thinks it's cute, but really it's just painful! Really I drink a lot of water, and a lot of Vitamin Water, but that's pretty strong on the calorie front. It's got a lot of B vitamins though which help soften the blow of my fruit allergy. (Yep, All fruit, even grapes, bananas, watermelon, and tomatoes!)

Good luck with your hunt, EZ!

I will tell you what DH drinks in our low calorie house because that might be more appealing...RaspberryTea iced, Berry Zinger tea iced, Blueberry tea iced, Talking Rain Lime seltzer mixed with a splash of orange juice or pineapple juice or lime juice or limeade (about 1/4 cup to a tall glass of seltzer).

2 oz white wine and seltzer and limes squeezed in (ok I drink this...he doesn't like it so much)

Regular ice tea....and....

....the aforementioned W beverage. I like W with Kundson's "just cranberry" mixed in, anywhere from 2 Tablespoons to 2 oz, but I like tart tasting drinks. W with lemon juice or lime juice and W with CUCUMBER slices is delicious and refreshing especially when it's hot. Cucumber added to pitchers of water is a very Middle Eastern cooling beverage.

There are newer low cal beers which are mighty good too, again with the sour for me...Corona lite Lime especially. You CAN put it over ice with more lime juice to make it last longer...in Mexico you can order this while sitting out by the pool.

Also, I like putting drinks in a nice, pretty glass, a big goblet "ice tea" glass or a tall, swanky beer stein chilled. Even a big wine glass. It really feels like a "drink" this way.

Those fizzy vitamin tablets, you know the ephervescent (i really dont know how to spell that word) ones that dissolve in water? I get Zinc and Echinecea ones that are lemon and lime flavoured, and its a good and tasty way to get water in the morning, or throughout the day. and you get your vitamins too! or if you mix orange juice and apple juice together, or mix apple and cranberry juice. that way at least what youre drinking is a little bit good for you

Like 2 ounce of juice to 14 ounces of water..basically take a big drink of a water bottle and refill with cranberry juice. I drink alot of water........at least 128 ounces. I am finding the more water I drink the more I want!!

Oh yeah, tater tash and Eskinomad! I forgot all about those carbonated waters ... YUM, YUM, YUM! I get BJ's "brand." It comes in 4 flavors: black cherry, kiwi-lime, strawberry-kiwi, and raspberry-blackberry. (I like the black cherry best!)

Also, has anyone ever heard of Metromint? I saw this on one of those food programs. It's flavored water too, but the flavors are all mint-based so they're supposed to be really "cooling" and fresh. I haven't tried those yet. Would like to!

You can google "metromint" to find their website (since I don't think I'm allowed to post it).

I just googled metromint. I like mint with my Water. Seems kind of spendy, but I might have to try some.

i have a 32 oz bottle i fill with ice and water and add one tube (for a 16 oz bottle) of the walmart version of crystal light (the cherry limeade and cranberry apple are my favorite) it's what i drink. I don't do water.

I also drink hot herb tea during the day (coffee at home in the AM and PM)

DH likes homemade iced tea... with splenda.

Oh Yeah...to answer EZ's question. I mostly drink water (sometimes with lemon and/or mint) or tea, hot or iced. I like spiced chai, jasmine tea, and peach tea.

This summer, I've been cold brewing pitchers of Mint Medley herbal iced tea (basically, making cold mint water by refrigerating a pitcher with 4 tea bags overnight), then drinking big, icy cold glasses of half that, half water. Straight mint tea was pretty strong and minty for me, so the diluted works out perfectly. I've been experimenting with other teas, too...I have a white tea and peach/mango flavor going in the fridge right now. Yum! There are a world of iced tea flavors out there, so I don't get bored.

I also have a selection of Sugar Free Torani and Da Vinci syrups...you can get the Torani at BevMo stores...and I mix a few pumps of those with ice cold plain mineral water to make calorie-free italian sodas in any variety of flavors...right now I'm loving vanilla cream sodas (vanilla syrup) and pina colada sodas (pineapple and coconut syrups).
