Default Smoke Gets In Your Eyes!

Does smoke get in your eyes?

Well if it does it's NOT from me!

11 YEARS AGO TODAY I BECAME A QUITTER!

Not one puff since!!

I walked a 5K with my family the next day....I found a picture last week with the date on it from that race. I never remembered the date I quit because I had quit so many times before. I do now! August 9th, 1997!

YEP! I'M A QUITTER! And PROUD OF IT!

CONGRATS UNCLE GARY!!!

I am very happy to hear success stories even though I never put a cigarette in my mouth. I am darn proud of it as in my culture most boys and girls start smoking at the age of sixteen. I graduate high-school and out of the 75 graduates I was the only one not to (talking about resisting peer pressure)

Congrats on quitting! My DH quit before we married (18 years ago) when he wanted to buy a motorcycle and figured out that what he was paying a month for cigs was the $$$ he needed for the motorcycle payments. He just smoked his last pack and never bought another! I was so proud of him! Can you even imagine how much that would be now? Probably a monthly house payment!! Unfortunately, my dad won't quit, even when they told him he was developing had copd. He just takes his inhaler then goes out to smoke

Gary, you're an inspiration to many. Keep up the good work

Good for you, EZ, ya Quitter, ya! I, too am a Quitter! I've been 'clean' for 5.5 years! I always wished smoking was taken as seriously as drugs or alcohol and had a Smokers Anonymous club. I know how well I do at Weight Watchers getting stickers and key chains for being good.
Ronnie62, I'm happy about your Hub, but sad about your Dad. My Dad quit about 7 years because he was developing COPD, and now he has trouble walking too far. When he walks me down the aisle, it'll be a good thing we're going slow.

Congratulations! That is a major accomplishment for sure. I have been there. My last smoke was in April of 1993. I had smoked for 29 years. I used the patch for about two weeks, then nothing. Never looked back.

Five years ago my Mom quit cold turkey after smoking for 60 years. Talk about being proud of her!!

So..hey it is nice to be a Quitter! Now if I could be a good Loser!
