Don't have enough posts to post up photos, but I've got a snowflake on my back for every knee surgery that I've had, so that makers 8. They go from my *** to my shoulder.

I will have to get DD to snap a few pics of my 3. I have one on my left ankle of a dolphin, one one my right shoulder/back of a butterfly and a big one on my lower back moon/sun with waves. All very colorful.

I had my dolphin recolored and there was a girl getting the initial of her first name done one the back of her neck, must have been the same girl that was getting a tatt when Zen's lil sis was getting hers. Finally the girl that was doing the tatt told her if she didn't hold still and quit screaming she wasn't going to finish it.

I want portrait tatts of each of my kids when they were toddlers. I also want a saehorse, although I am not sure about placement of any of these. DH hates my tatts. In fact, when I got my butterfly (my second tatt) he didn't speak to me for 4 days. I did not "ask" him before I got it. When I got my 3rd tatt I didn't "ask" him, I TOLD him. He wasn't happy, but he didn't flip out like he did with #2.

Your lil sis's koi is awesome. My 14 yo DD wants a Koi Tatt so bad!! I have told both kids to wait until they are 18. Mainly because I want themt o really give thought to what they get and not get something on a whim. Also the place I go will not even let you in the door if you are under 18. My son turns 18 and September and is planning on getting his first tatt then.

i have had both my nipples done twice and i really really like it!

then i got *the* bit pierced - also, great decision! heals really fast too!

I was so happy to take her to get her first tattoo. She's just graduating high school and it was my graduation/birthday present to her. I'm glad she takes color so well. It's really vibrant even though she has a dark skin tone. I'm so pale that anything is super bright (maybe with freckle spots).

:yikes: Did that one hurt? Did the pierce it through the nerve?? Or just above/below it? Does it really - make things more pleasureable?

Kate - you're my hero! :) I won't get more piercings. I'm a big wuss that way. But I love the idea and the look of it on other women.

theres lots of different kinds of piercings you can get down there. women and men - and each one approaches different parts of the anatomy and at different angles.

personally, i got a vertical hood done - so no actual nerve was pierced (too much risk of perm. damage i wasnt willing to risk it) and yes - it absolutely made everything ssoooo much better! cant imagine not having it!

This is my "BFF" tattoo. Me & my best friend designed it & then went & got it together for her 50th b'day. Mine is on my right upper arm, & hers in on her right upper back.

And this is my tigerfly - I got it after I had my appendix taken out. The tiger represents stealth & strength, while the butterfly represents gentleness and beauty.

The other two I have is a pink & purple seahorse on my ankle (it was my first) and a Leo symbol on my left arm, which eventually I will have a lion's head underneath it.

My husband has 5 tatts, and our 15th anniversary is next Thursday. We're going to get tatts for our anniversary. I might get my lion's head that day. But I also have planned a leg sleeve of ocean creatures... a turtle, a stingray, a dolphin, a mermaid, starfish, angelfish, sanddollar, and octupus. It will take a long, long time & many many trips to get all that done!

I LOVE the tigerfly!!! I have wanted a seahorse for sometime, but can't seem to find the "right" style...either they look too cartoonish or to evil.

The leg sleeve sounds awesome!!! I would love to see that when you have that done!!!

Heh! - that "leg sleeve" will probably take a couple years to complete! But I'll try to remember to take some pics as it goes along. I plan to start on it sometime in October. :)

Here are my tattoos.

The mom tat is on my left wrist, I got it shortly after my mom passed away.

My AJO tat was my first one, and it's on my right wrist. AJO is my hubby's initials.

The anchor is on my right calf. I'm debating if I should get Navy Wife 2004-2011 under it or not. That is how long I've been a Navy wife. (his anchor tattoo is soooooooooooo AWESOME!!)

And the last one is on the back of my neck. I had that done last year. So I'm due for my next one soon.

And in case you couldn't tell..I love hearts. So that's sort of my theme. But I think my next one wont have any hearts on it.

My 40th BD present was a tattoo. I have on full rose and 2 rosebuds, my HD and my 2 kids!

I don't have any yet but this is the one I plan to get. It's symbolic of me and my two sons.

I don't have any tattoos but I want one, it's something I've wanted since I was younger but I need a really good artist to do it and I'm not just going to let some random one do this tattoo.

It's going to take up most of my back, it'll be a tiger ripping apart a tiger and the only thing that will be in colour is the blood. It means something to me so unless I can get this certain person to do my tat that's what I'll be getting.
