Have any of you ordered semi-custom drapes/valances from an internet store? I need a 120" simple valance done in a Waverly fabric, and have found places to order from on the internet that will charge me less than half what I'd pay at my local fabric shop for the valance and labor. ($190 versus $450, I swear!) It seems impossible for there to be that much of a difference but it seems to be true, for the same valance, fabric, lining, etc.

Any of you had experience doing this? I would charge it to my Mastercard, which would protect me if I had a problem. Thanks!

I ordered some wood slat blinds from blindsforless.com a couple years ago, and they were so nice to work with that I ended up ordering some venetian blinds about a year ago.
