oh boy... when I have troubles falling asleep b/c my bf isnt in bed with me I try to trick myself into thinking I'm just taking a nap, which it usually turns out to be one b/c i dont get much sleep anyways!! Hope you can get some sleep! Out to sea... I'm gonna take a guess here- i'm guessing he's in the navy... my cousin is in the navy stationed in san diego california-- across the country from his hick home town of PA. He's on the USS Ronald Reagan. Military Wives are one of the strongest breeds of women I know that's for sure!
Yeah, I work night security so my "days" are actually nights. Everyone's midnight is my noon. It confuses me sometimes when I'm talking about what day it is, am I living in yesterday or tomorrow? I may never know. lol
haha when i worked third shift i was the same way. Yesterday, or wait no, today, or well wait a minute... d*mn it, the (insert date here), and then I'd continue the conversation! Oh boy my laptop is about to spontaneously combust from being on my lap so long... time to shut'er down to cool off... Hope ya all get some rest! Night, or is it Morning?

I sometimes trick like that too. It works every now & then. My body seems to know when I'm lying to it, lol. Ya he is in the Navy. His ship was stationed in San Diego a couple years ago..but it was dry docked here.

Omg, thats how I was when dh was deployed. I would stay up until 6am because thats when he would call me, lol. Then I'd just sleep all freakin day.

I dont mind it either. Me & dh are both night owls. Whenever we do venture outside during the day, we're blinded by that thing called the sun, lol. I'm surpised we havent grown vampire teeth yet, lol.
Well, when I know that my DH is not going to be sleeping with me, I don't change the sheets until he gets back from where he is. I find that if I snuggle with his "smell" on the sheets or his pillow that is comforting. Have you tried that?
I usually go to bed around midnight but I went to bed last night around 10:30 pm and I awoke around 3:45 am hungry. I didn't eat supper last night (don't ask me why) and so I made myself breakfast. I also awoke because my arthritis is hurting me. I don't like to take medicine on an empty stomach so I made myself my usual SBD breakfast and I plan to go back to bed in a few minutes.
Again, try my suggestion above. Have your sweetie sleep in a couple of things that you can snuggle with while he's gone. Works for me!
Oh I do that. His pillow smells just like him. Its so nice. I'm considering staying awake until he comes home in a few hours..but I dont want to have a panic attack or anything..
I'm gonna try sleeping in a few mins. Just gotta change the song on my page..
I have just been lying down in the bedroom watching Monsters Inc. cuz I feel so crappy. I came out to the living room because DH gets off in 5 min and will be home in about a 1/2 hr or so. But now that I got out of bed......I feel crappy again...........UGH........I don't wanna be sick on my nights off! lol.
