Default Happy Mother's Day

My mother passed away after Mother's Day last year, so this will be my first one, in 54 years, that I won't celebrate with her

My wife headed off this evening to spend the week-end running a 1/2 marathon relay with her sister and spend Mother's Day with her mom. My kids will be spending time with their mom.

I want to wish all of you, and my wife if she peeks in, a

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Thanks, EZ. I hope you have a good weekend, too. I know it must be hard this year. I hope your good memories give you a chance to smile!

Happy Mother's Day EZ! I know it must be hard, but just remember your mom is with you in spirit. Hope everyone's having a good Mother's Day

Today ( and tomorrow) is Mother's Day for my mom. She tells us (her children) that she is Mexican-American, therefore she celebrates both Mexico's Mother's Day today and the US Mother's Day tomorrow. Anyone else have a similar situation? LOL. My mom cracks me up--she even insists that we wish her a Happy Mothers Day both days, and hints that she should get double the presents!

Thanks EZ -- I have to stay in bed tomorrow morning until my husband gets home from work so the kids can make me breakfast in bed (which they usually eat most of!!), but I have to give my huband credit -- he went out and bought me fruit and good stuff for breakfast this year -- since I've been working so hard!!

Mother's day causes me mixed feelings because I have a wonderful sister who is unable to have children and every year this holiday breaks my heart -- knowing what she's missing out on.

Sorry for your loss EZ. I was orphaned at 34. My oldest sis was 50 and neither of us took it well. It doesn't matter how old you are or they are, sometimes we all just want our Mommies.

HAPPY MOM'S DAY EVERYONE!!!
