I'm a pretty huge video game nerd and was strolling the mall today and passed a Game Stop. And then I saw it...They're coming out with game called WII FIT!!! It's an exercise game completely devoted to getting in shape and comes with a balance board.

Here's the description:

"The active-play phenomenon started by Wii Sports now spreads to your whole body thanks to the pressure-sensitive Wii Balance Board (name not final), which comes packed with Wii Fit. The board is used for an extensive array of fun and dynamic activities, including aerobics, yoga, muscle stretches and games. Many of these activities focus towards providing a "core" workout, a popular exercise method that emphasizes slower, controlled motions."

Do you think you can get a decent workout?? Anything is more then what I am doing now!! I wanted to invest in the Dance Dance Revolution for the XBOX 360. That looks like a workout and fun too!

Oooooh I LOOOOVE Dance Dance Revolution! I am completely addicted to that game! Once you get the hang of it, it's such a blast!

Also on DDR, there's "workout mode" for when you get the hang of it. It's crazy! I had a friend lose so much weight doing this game for cardio!!

I SO want the Wii FIT! I'm excited for it. I heard about it awhile ago and apparently they are having a pre-sale to reserve it because they are going to go fast!

I bought DDR for the Wii yesterday....and I don't see how the workout mode is a workout??? It stops after every song and you just stand there for 30 seconds every minute or so. Am I doing something wrong??? Some songs don't have any feet movement either...just hands.

Hmm maybe it's different? I have DDR for PS2 (not Wii...told ya'll I was a video game nerd! haha..I have all sorts of game systems!) With PS2, it goes super fast and pretty long.

If you're between workouts on your DDR game, maybe walk in place or something so you're not standing still? LoL I dunno! That game's so fun though!

We already have wii so maybe that would work for me! lol

That's great news! I've been thinking of getting DDR, but I think this is a better option.
