it is 7 degress outside (-1 with the windchill) and i cant get the motivation to go to the gym or the grocery store... i would like to stay in bed all day, with lots of blankets
But you CAN exercise at home! Workout videos and DVDs, resistance bands, hey - books and cans can become weights if you are desperate. Put on some great music and dance around the house.
Now say this aloud:
I will not become a couch potato because it is cold outside. I WILL exercise, even if I have to do it at home .
All kidding aside, living in northern MI, I have added lots of at-home equipment so I don't have to leave my comfortable, warm, cozy home to exercise in the winter.
Would it help to tell ya that it was -21 here when I woke up this morning?
Very hard to get motivated when it's that cold and on the weekend! And I work out at home
