I've seen a UFO before and I believe many other people have as well. I also believe life exists on other planets although I don't believe UFOs are from other planets.
I think it was probably something miliary or something that the milary knew about. There is a base in Ft, Worth which is very close to Stephenville. I hope that something that large isn't flying around over a base without them knowing it!
If it is something military, then I think at least they should let everyone know-they don't have to reveal what it is, etc. exactly. It would be nice to ease the minds of the people who saw it, though.
On the other hand, I think that it would be arrogant of us, as humans, to assume that we are the only intelligent life forms in existence. There are other areas out there, other than the solar system that we live in, and we have not even been able to venture (ourselves) to other planets in our own system...much less explore others. How do we know that there isn't a planet full of life, somewhere else?
I wouldn't put too much stock in the size estimation, as size is often very difficult to determine when dealing with aircraft, and is based in part on assumptions about the altitude of the object. If the object is much closer to the ground than a person assumes, it will seem to be much larger than it is.
My guess would be in order of probability, USA military aircraft, "Invited" non-USA military aircraft, "Uninvited, but known" non-USA military aircraft, "Uninvited, unknown" military aircraft, Privately owned and developed aircraft, (repeat list, but substitute hologram or some other sort of projection for aircraft) .... and somewhere way down on the list: extra-terrestrial aircraft, time-travel aircraft, inter-dimensional air craft.
I personally think that if it was our military, then they would want people to believe that it is something extraterrestrial and that they have no knowledge. They would rather have speculation than a statement "yes its us, we can't tell you want it is, but its us" because then other countries will wonder at what we are doing and have going on.
I agree the size estimate is crazy and it is hard to estimate size. So it may have looked huge to the viewers but not as huge as the person thought it was.

Anything is a possibility.
Years ago, people thought the earth was flat.
I agree with this statement wholeheartedly! I do believe that life exists elsewhere in the universe. I don't believe in most "UFO" sightings.
