Thank You.

Gary--I truly believe in the power of prayer. Thank you. Hubby has had a peaceful couple of days.

Here's another request. It's for a 15 year old girl named Crystal. She works parttime where I do and she's a homeschooler. She is a great worker and one of the sweetest most polite kids you could ever meet. She had a seizure at home on Tuesday and was rushed to the hosital. She has had a few more since she has been in there. They are running all kinds of tests and are concerned about her heart. Please pray for her.

Gary, I actually don't have a prayer request as I have been blessed even in the most difficult times or I couldn't have made it through them :) I just wanted to let you and your congregation know that you all are in my prayers, as is everyone here.

Thank-you :)

My older DD is really perplexing the family. I just found out that she is on anti-depressants. I never knew that. She hasn't been taking them and her daughters are at their wits end. Whenever she has a man friend, her fibromyalgia is in check. She is active and fun to be around. Whenever the relationship is over, she's almost bedridden in incredible pain. The girls (soon to be 18 and 16) have to take over running the house. She's gone back to college and is working p/t. I'm happy for the college. I'm not sure if everything the girls are feeling isn't just the teenage "I hate my mother" phase. They are very active in their church. I just hope someone in the church family will reach out before those girls run away. Prayers for them would be appreciated.Heavenly Father, We ask you to look over Mare's granddaughter's as they go through this difficult time with their mother. We ask that, if it is your will, someone from their church gives them the encouragement they need to cope. We ask that you look over Mare's daughter and give her the strength to become the mother to her daughter's that you want her to be. We ask in Jesus name...Amen

A prayer of thanks is in order as well. The company where boobalah works just had a massive layoff yesterday. He had to layoff one of the guys who has worked for him for 10 years. The thanks is that boobalah dodged the bullet there. So, thank you, God, for that one. AWESOME.

I'm praying that boobalah can transfer to another division. He's been complaining about his job for years. I finally sat down with him the other night and told him to stop complaining or start contacting people who have transferred out and see if he can go there. He's putting feelers out now.

Thank you again, Gary, my friend. You and your congregation are in my daily prayers.

Thank you :)

Gary, thank you.

The fire department called me yesterday and offered me the job. I also have an interview for an even better job next week and will probably get to select between the two.

I think your prayers might have something to do with this ;)

You just never know Kiddo ;)

Can you please pray for their family that they make it through this trying time in their lives? I am not a religious person, but I know they are and would appreciate it very much.

Heavenly Father, we ask for comfort for Kelly's family as they deal with this horrible tradgedy in their lives. We know you can work miracles of comfort, beyond our own understanding...In Jesus Name..Amen.

I will take all your prayers with me to church at 4am tomorrow (WED) for my hour...they have already been posted and being prayed for by others as of 6pm tonight.

God Bless You All ~ Gary

I generally avoid posting prayer requests but I just had to share my good news and to ask for prayers for even more good news for later on this week for my mother. A little background on me and what's been going on in my life since I've been 18 years old. My mother and I have been through quite a bit in the past 6 years since my father died of cancer. First, She was in a motorcycle accident so severe barely a year after my dad died that the ER/OR doctors didn't think I would get to her in time to say goodbye after she actually made it through life-saving surgery. Then after two years of recovering from her injuries from that accident less than 6 months later she was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and it was one of the more aggressive ones. She endured a double masectomy and made it through that as well and was in remission for a little over a year then this past summer cancer was discovered in other areas of her body and she has endured even more radiation and chemo again and it has been much worse this time around for her. She's had a lot more bad days than good and cannot work at all this time around. We just got the good news that her new cat scans and other tests are showing that the chemo is actually being effective and that the cancer "spots" that were of major concern are shrinking. Her last body scans were not so hopeful to say the least. I just need some prayers that her other body scans like her PET scan she's having on Thursday will also provide more good news since I don't know if my mother could handle bad news after being given such good news today and I don't know if I could either to be honest. So I would really appreciate some prayers for more good news and a prayer thanking God for the good news we've gotten so far and thanking him for giving the answer to my prayers and he truly has renewed my faith in him tonight since it was really wavering and feeling sorely tested. I feel like I'm walking on Cloud Nine. I don't think I can sleep tonight since I'm just so ecstatic. Thank you.

P.S. I feel like I can now start giving more emotionally now that I don't feel so drained and I actually feel hope again which I didn't even know I had lost and I think that's why I'm so joyful now tonight as well so I will try to remember each and every one of your prayers as well and come back and read this thread over and over to keep up with it. Thank you EZMoney for starting this!

EZMONEY 01-23-2008 09:36 PM

Hey BLONDEBRITBRAT I remember your story about your mom.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for all the prayers you have answered for this family in their time of tremendous emotional struggle. We never understand why we have to endure so much pain but we do know, according to your WORD, that you are ALWAYS with us as we go through it. We thank you in advance for the answers, as your will, to our prayers...in Jesus name...Amen.

All of your requests were taken before the Lord today from our prayer vigil by myself at 4am and Angie at 5pm....as well as by others through out the day. It is for certain your prayers were heard and will be answered according to God's will. May He always bless you! Gary

blondebritbrat17 01-24-2008 02:37 PM

Thank you very much Gary

EZMONEY 01-28-2008 10:01 PM

We had almost 600 people pray during the 24 hour vigil...you were all on our list.

almostheaven 01-29-2008 12:57 PM

Well I'm here late and we get tons through my parents' church, but it never hurts to have more.

Right now my daughter has been in and out of the hospital dealing with fainting spells and seizures. They're checking into stress related causes, some of the new meds she just went on, and adjusting another of her meds. Still waiting to see if there's improvement.

And my son was just put on a nebulizer with Albuterol treatments to see if his cough may be linked to asthma. He has a follow-up in 2 weeks to see if he's improving.

My dad recently started cancer treatments. It's a treatable kind, but the treatments are going to start making him ill soon. Plus his diabetes has gotten pretty bad and he now has neuropathy in his feet.

And my grandpa hasn't been doing well and needs round-the-clock supervision now. He's no longer aloud outside during cold weather. He has fluid on his lungs.

And my cousin has been given 1 week to 6 months to live. She's surpassed the 1 week mark now, going into week 3. She's on hospice care in home on an IV with ovarian cancer. She's just 40 but had let her health go for years and when she finally got it checked, they found the cancer a little late so that the treatments haven't taken.

It seems like when stuff hits, it all hits at once.

Hi Gary

One of our long time members at 3 FC; Sarah (lessofsarahtolove) is hospitalized w/complications from Hodgkin's disease, and she's not expected to live much longer. Please pray for comfort for her partner Lorraine, her friends and family, and her many friends here at 3 FC.

cbmare 01-30-2008 05:54 PM

Oh, Joanne. That was sad to read. A prayer just went up for Sarah.

cbmare 01-30-2008 05:55 PM

Gary, thank you so much.

How long will you be doing this? It sounds like a HUGE project.

600 people praying? How big is your church?

Sarah passed away peacefully last night. Please keep her family and friends in your prayers!

cbmare 01-31-2008 01:14 PM

How sad. I'm sure she is at peace now and in a much better place with no pain. Bless your heart for caring so much and letting us know.

EZMONEY 01-31-2008 11:04 PM

Heavenly Father, We here at 3FC have lost a dear friend, Sarah....at this time all we can ask for is that you ease the pain and the heartache in her friends here and her family and friends that know her personally. We ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

I don't have time to type tonight...but I have read the requests and have prayed for them.....Gary
