Default I'm kinda feeling guilty for parking near the door

For the better part of a year now I've been parking in the back of the parking lot. However, in the last few days I'm getting as close to the door as possible. With the rains we've had and not know when they will get down to our area, I'm not sure what to do. The rain we had last Friday were awful. They had hurricane force winds with them. I thought they would hit here again yesterday. Apparently they stayed in the north bay. They are supposed to be hitting us this afternoon. I hate having a workout of just trying to remain standing up straight while trying to get to my car. All this with being pelting with rain.

You shouldn't feel guilty...who the heck wants to deal with strong winds and rain? Not me! Hope the weather gets better for ya.

Good grief, as long as you aren't parking in a handicapped spot, don't fret over parking close when it rains to be the dickens. Skinny people aren't going to want to walk in the rain either and will fight you for a close spot so relax and don't feel guilty!

I would be joining you in parking close to the door. Even without the strong winds, I'm just not a "walking in the rain" sort of person. That is one of the reasons I got a treadmill, so I didn't have to walk outside when it was raining. I know it is kinda pathetic, and I see a few people out there walking happily (well... seemingly happily) away in the rain, and I often think I would like to be able to do that. But for the moment, just save me a seat in your car.

I hope the weather gets better for you soon.

Zelma, you've done an awesome job! I hate you. You have a neck!

Seriously, you look absolutely fabulous!

Thank you Mare! My 'vain' self can never hear too many compliments. I have a LOT of years of compliments to catch up on. I am actually so vain that I often 'pose' in front of the mirror... and yes, I do a LOT of checking out of my neck, lifting my head this way and that to see how it all looks the best. What an EGO!!!!!

Thanks for taking the time for the lovely compliment. YOU are certainly doing well with your weight loss, so you must be getting a pretty nice looking neck yourself. And see??? Neither of us has to stick our necks out (sorry... HAD to say it) and go walking in the rain. LOL

Take care,

Zelma
