Thank-you all so much for all the help you gave me in getting my daughter the "perfect" gift in our extended family gift exchange. I took everyone's input into consideration and came up with this ~ it is a framed collage of all the pictures I have of my daughter and I together, from a baby ~ vacations ~ girl scouts ~ dance ~ church ~ backyard ~ painting her parking spot and decorating for homecoming ~ college tennis pics ~ high school and college graduations ~ and of course centered around the longest walk of my life as I handed her off to the kidnapper . She LOVED IT You can't see it but above the picture of her hitting the baseball off the tee in the backyard, I wrote "Your Daddy Loves You"...that is what I have always written to her...never "love dad"...always "Your Daddy Loves You"...in all the hidden notes in her lunches, in her notebooks, on her car windshield, on her cards, in her e-mails, etc.

How wonderful!!! I'm happy she enjoyed a nice gift from her very loving dad

Gary , that was such a thoughtful gift. Those are the best kind! My MIL always gives us that type of gifts. I really treasure my home-made family cookbook that she made for me last Christmas (with a picture of each family member with their special recipe).

I asked my son if he saw my gift to his sister and he just said "Sa-WEEET Pops! I want one for my birthday."
