  • I like making scrapbooks the best.

I fake knit...using one of those circle things with pegs so that it looks like you knit...but without all the knitting needles.

I used to crochet, but haven't in years.

I started working on a quilt that I want to make out of old t-shirts I don't wear anymore (mostly from high school or vacations) but I haven't gotten very far on that.
  • i do some sculpture with polymer clay!!
  • I am a crocheter who is thinking of trying my hand at knitting as well. I have been crocheting for over a year and a half. I started the last time my son went into the hospital for surgery. And I love crocheting. Here are a few pictures of someof the stuff I have made:

a blanket I made for my youngest son:

  • Scrap booking is fun I'm making 4 , for Christmas they take a lot of time but are worth it and so much fun to put together .Does any one else scrap booking?
  • Those pics are cute. All of them.

I crochet big squares of any yarn I can get my hand on. When I have enough, I give them to the Salvation Army. They put them into blankets as part of the Warm Up America campaign.

I can't knit to save my life.

I'm a new quilting addict. I'll have to get some pics of what I've done for people. I'm in the process of finishing up 2 quillows for 2 grand nephews.

My craft room needs to throw up. I have to do that on occasion because it gets too unruly. After I finish my quillows, I'll spend a weekend helping it throw up and rearrange it. Then I'm going to start some sort of Christmas pattern for a mantle runner.

I've got a big needlepoint project in the media room. After addressing the craft room, I'll tackle it again. I love to sit in there in the evening and do my needlepoint while I watch some of my shows.
  • I'm just learning to quilt starting with a strip quilt, quilts are so pretty when they are done and a lot of work I suppose.I don't have the patience for knitting or crocheting wish I did lol.
  • YAY Crafters!! My craft is Scrapbooking and through association Photography too. I can no longer afford another hobby, lol.

I too would love to see the aprons Mandalinn!
  • This is such a great thread! I love knitting and soap making. I haven't made soap in awhile...been too busy...but I love working with all the scents and herbs. I learned to knit by getting a kids knitting book and making all the hideous little projects in the book. One of the projects was a soda can cozy! LOL! I swear I was so proud of that thing. Anyway, because the book was geared towards kids, it was super easy and had lots of pictures. I'm very craft challenged, but when I want to learn something I do it with a vengence! I HAD to have the BEST soda cozy EVER!! So for all of you who are afraid to learn to knit, check out a couple of kids books on knitting. I got mine at the library and checked it out several times until I finished ALL of the hideous little projects, even the striped leg warmers!
  • I make beaded jewelry. I also am a lampworker (melting glass rods with a torch to make beads)and I want to try my hand at mosaics and chain maille, also.
  • NeedtoloseinGA...those blankets are so cute! Love the blue one and especially the yellow one...the shape!

I would try looking in the kids craft section at your local library..........I have found a ton of cute and easy craft project books at our local library. In fact that's how I learned to knit and crochet, very basic kids' books! I'll have to get pictures on here, I keep meaning to
