I have never been out of the country ~ I like to visit Las Vegas at least every other year. Angie and I go about 3 out of 5 years. My favorite "away" family vacation was to Washington D.C. and Williamsburg.

Quick plane trip or nice long drive?

Nice long drive!!!!
You can enjoy the scenery, and listen to music -and I have trouble fitting into airplane seats. Another plus is that you can stop and "get out" for some fresh air!
