just being doing some calcualtions- where I live in the UK the cheapest gas is £0.93 or $1.85 per litre!!. A couple of years ago it went up to the equivelant over $2 for a while. On top of that the Government want to bring in road pricing. this means being charged a tax per mile we drive, more busy roads will cost more. :(

I think we are at $3.18/gallon in this area now. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Prius. I go about 400-440 miles on 8 gallons of gas when the weather is warm :) Plus the car just rules, all gas-mileage things aside.

Back down to $2.92 today. It's dropped .14 in the last week.

Ours was down to $3.10 and $3.12 yesterday.

Sat it was $2.99 for regular (but I had a $.10/gallon off discount from the grocery store - whew!)

Here on Ft Benning I filled up at 2.98 about a week ago off post it was 3.05. I haven;t looked at the prices since last week. So, I dont know what mine are. Now I am curious... because 70.00 in my tank KILLED ME.

$2.89 last two days. Dropped 3 cents since Sunday.

I filled up yesterday for $2.99 a gallon which is down about .30 cents in the last couple of weeks.

I don't fill up unless I'm going to be traveling. I won't be a rolling storage container for the oil industry. It's just a political thing for me.

However, I did put $20 in this morning. It was $3.19. Two days ago it was $3.26. Before I left Pensacola, it had dropped there to $2.96.

Ours just went down 5 cents per gallon. Yesterday at a Chevron I paid $3.15 for regular unleaded.:mad:

Finally under $3 here now...hope it continues to go down. Filled up yesterday at $2.87. It's actually $2.89 but if you have a Dillions card (local grocer here) they knock .02 off the price for regular unleaded....10 cents for supreme.

the exchange rate from the uk to the USA is about $1.98 to £1.

3.785 litres in a Gallon, and at 94 pence a litre, that comes out to just over $7 a gallon. Sucks to live and drive here! There is so much tax! Approximately 62%!

About $2.85 in the Twin Cities now, but a few weeks ago it was as high as $3.25. Please, keep going down down down ... :mad:

Gas was $2.69 briefly here, but is now back up to $2.83.

We're at $2.69 here in Jersey, and they pump the gas for us!!

I haven't had someone pump gas for me years! Can't even remember when.

Jill, that's hilarious. I bet that happens to out of staters all the time. What do they think will happen if you pump it yourself? Do they check your oil for you too like in the old days?
