It's the start of a three day party! DH taking me out to dinner tonight, the REAL party tomorrow at the polo grounds an then my in-laws taking me out for a nice lunch Sunday.

It's Friday and I get to go to a "Girl" party this weekend (those are sooo much fun) and it has turned out to be a beautiful day.

I'm smiling today because everything just kind of "flowed", even when something went wrong, it corrected easily. Like the universe was in perfect alignment and my kids actually liked each other ALL DAY!!

Both my teams are still in MARCH MADNESS ~ UCLA and USC

Because Angie is taking the dogs on a 30 minute walk this morning and they love it! Easy training day for Angie and the mutts, yesterday it was a 3.5 mile run for them.

Nephew won 2/3 of his tennis matches yesterday and he is still speaking to me even though he is in "PRISON" with me at the moment for lying about homework AGAIN!

It is DAY and we are havaing a BBQ here tonight!

I start my first day at my first job today! I'm working on the Easter Bunny set in the mall, which will at least half the time have me as the bunny! It should be an interesting day!

I am smiling today because we just spent 2 1/2 hours outside playing in the snow and I wasn't rushing to come in!! I'm smiling today because my husband and I are finally getting along again (it's been a long, long time!!)

Ninepaw -- enjoy your first day -- do you realize kid's will idolize you as much as Santa Claus when you have that suit on -- that's an amazing skill!! Keep the ear plugs handy for the screaming kids that mom and dad still make sit on your lap!! Have a great day.

I have signed up for the Amsterdam marathon

I have booked a really nice apartment for me, YP1 and Kykaree and our respective guests to stay in Amsterdam - AND IT'S NEAR THE BREAKFAST PLACE!

it's Monday, and I like Mondays, it's a chance to start the week afresh after a wonky weekend.

my muscles feel worked for a change

I get to hang out with some cool young people and help them succeed at kickboxing.

I get to go eat lunch now..... byeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I am smiling today because I am friends with a group of amazing women- amazing moms. Most of us have never met in person, and yet we would consider each other among our closest friends. I am smiling because I am watching this group of women pull together to support one of us through the hardest thing anyone would ever have to go through. I know none of us have met her in person, but we are all there for her, and we love her so and I think (hope?) at some level, in some small way our love is helping her on this hardest of days. I am smiling because I know at 2 pm today, central time, we were all weeping together. I felt them over the distance of thousands of miles that separates us.
