Poll: what three foods...

Poll time! Ok, if you could choose THREE specific foods to be "free" - as in no matter how much you eat of it - there's NO calories, fat, etc...and you wouldn't put on ANY weight EVER by eating them - what would they be?

One Rule: Must be specific: example - you can't say "italian" - you must say specifically lasagna, stuffed shells, etc. you can't say "all chocolate" - you must specify if it's a specific candy bar (snickers, reeses, etc...) or a specific cake (chocolate cake, tiramisu, etc...) same with resteraunts - not just "wendy's" but specifically "wendy's grilled chicken sandwich" (although not necisarily brand specific)
you get the idea.

My three would be:

1. Reeses Peanut Butter Cups
2. Starbucks Frappucinos (with whipped cream)
3. Pesto, Chicken, & Cheese stuffed Calzone (specifically from Eduardo's Pizzaria in Chicago)

mandalinn82 02-28-2007 12:44 PM

This is dangerous :-)

1. Sourdough bread
2. Cream filled, chocolate dipped eclairs
3. Butter (because if butter had no calories, you could reduce the calories of SO many things that butter goes into...frostings, cakes, cookies....)

marbleflys 02-28-2007 12:45 PM

Lohr Cabernet Savignon....gallons of it!
Broiled Lobster tails with BUTTER....
Coconut Cream Pie.......

I'm crying with nostalgia.....

lilybelle 02-28-2007 12:45 PM

1. chocolate cake
2. cheesecake
3. chicken fettucine specifically from Zio's.

jtammy 02-28-2007 12:57 PM

German chocolate cake with the caramel cocunut pecan icing

Ok - this is a dangerous thread ;)

rockinrobin 02-28-2007 01:03 PM

1. Moosetracks ice cream
2. CHOCOLATE
3. Cheddar Cheese

Oh am I craving these now.

Mummy_Tummy 02-28-2007 01:31 PM

Oh gosh, my mouth is atering and all I can think is "Extreme Chocolate"!!! I've never tried this variety. Thank goodness I'm not close to a store!

BlueToBlue 02-28-2007 01:53 PM

I almost hate to do this because I feel like exercises like this just serve to make me feel deprived, which doesn't help me stay on track, but here goes:

1. chocolate
2. peanut butter
3. pasta

shelby897 02-28-2007 02:02 PM

They all sound so good!!

McDonald's big mack
Chips and dip
Snicker's bar

(Well, at least it's "well rounded"!!)

beautifulone 02-28-2007 02:04 PM

If there were no calories and no health strings attached:

1. Chocolate - anything chocolate but especially baked goods like cakes, muffins, brownies

2. Butter/Oil - it goes into sooo much.

3. Sugar... oh heck, most deserts!

jtammy 02-28-2007 02:09 PM

meowee 02-28-2007 02:39 PM

Okay . . . the order of listing means nothing . . . they are all pretty much on the same level.

Peanut Butter

Chocolate Brownies

Mocha, chocolate swirl, ice cream

nelie 02-28-2007 02:44 PM

Umm lets see...

1) Bread
2) Cheese
3) Nuts

Is that specific enough? Probably not but that would be a dream list. I like chocolate well enough but Nuts are so calorie dense that I could use a little chocolate and a lot of nuts/nut butter... mmmm....

jsta_grl 02-28-2007 02:46 PM

1) Cinnabons...specifically the ones they smother in hot caramel and top with pecans
2) French Fries
3) Crab with melted butter

Key lime pie.

almostheaven 02-28-2007 03:26 PM

1) Ghiradelli(sp?) dark chocolate...the really dark stuff.

2) Butterfinger ice cream bars.

3) Creamy peanut butter.

almostheaven 02-28-2007 03:27 PM

Heck change my number one. I think I'd rather eat endless cheesecake (NY style) than chocolate. I could get my chocolate fix with the Butterfinger bars. ;)

FrouFrou 02-28-2007 03:27 PM

Only three?

1. Olive Gardens Lasagne/salad/breadsticks (I know it's 3 but it's the whole meal, lol)
2. Cheesecake
3. Munchos

alinnell 02-28-2007 04:15 PM

You would have to limit us to just three.....

1. Sour Cream
2. Cheese (specifically, Sargento Mexican blend or parmesan)
3. Bread (specifically sour dough)

Indychick829 02-28-2007 04:24 PM

hahaha. what did i unleash here?! :-D it's a great thread though. very interesting to honestly see what different people's "cravings" really are/were.

EZMONEY 02-28-2007 04:38 PM

1. HOMEMADE chocolate chip cookies
2. Mom's chicken stew with dumplings
3. Cinnzeo cinnamon buns with extra cream cheese and extra butter

Perspective 02-28-2007 10:24 PM

3 Top Choices

Okay, you said to be really specific so here goes:

1) The Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory

2) Stuffed French Toast from IHOP

3) Peanut Butter Toast (unlimited number of slices, mind you)

As a side note, though ... If I ever sat down and consumed these items with the portion sizes they serve them in, I think I would wind up in the ER with intestinal blockage :D !!

lizziness 02-28-2007 10:33 PM

1. Hamburgers (most specifically a certain double western bacon cheeseburger from Carl's Jr)
2. Chocolate- Peanut M&M's or the Hersheys treasures with almonds and toffee
3. Potatoes cooked in any bad way, mashed, fried sigh.

and on a side note, a girl from work was sitting next to me eating mashed potatoes today and I told her I was using a LOT of restraint in not beating her up and stealing them *LOL*

ennay 02-28-2007 10:35 PM

I'm changing mine...that was influenced by food porn, I really dont have that much of a sweet tooth and I already eat chocolate

2. PIZZA SCHMIZZA
3. Indian Food - Toss up between Saag Panir and Chicken Makahni

Bikini Ready 02-28-2007 11:01 PM

stacylambert 02-28-2007 11:53 PM

Too many things to choose from so here's the first 3 that came to mind:

Burgers/Fries (in my mind that's ONE)
Beer
Chocolate (and therefore many other things, much like the butter idea)
