South Park

What is your favorite fruit?

friendlykat4u 04-02-2007 03:42 PM

I love South Park! :D

Oh dear, I love all fruits, but if I had to pick one I'd go with watermelon.

What make/model/year was the 1st car you ever owned?

walking2lose 04-02-2007 03:49 PM

Honda Accord Hatchback... light blue, bought used while I was in college. Year? Maybe 83 or 84? Can't remember, but I had it for a long time.

Have you exercised yet today? What did you do or what do you plan to do exercise-wise today?

FrouFrou 04-02-2007 04:08 PM

Car...was a mint green 75 Chevy Nova...I loved that car!

Yes, I have exercised today. Did a 1 1/2 mile walk at the park this morning. Getting back on track again after 2 weeks of nothing. This move has taken it's toll on my eating, and exercising.

Same question...

melekalikimaka 04-02-2007 08:00 PM

Exercise: I had a physical therapy session where they make me do the stairmonster...I mean, stair-master, the treadmill, the stationary bike....weights, stretches, etc etc. So yeah, they make me sweat. I feel great!

First car was a white/silver '95 Chrysler Sebring coupe, the first year they were ever sold. Hubby bought it for me right before we got married and I didn't even have a driver's license. Traded that in after 2 years and got a 4x4 pick up, guess who's still driving that now? not me.

What's the last movie you saw in a theater? Did you have popcorn?

ennay 04-02-2007 08:25 PM

uhhhhh. Happy Feet and yes- dd LOVES popcorn so she ate most of it.

Same question

srmb60 04-03-2007 11:15 AM

Love, actually ... no popcorn

Favourite soft drink?

FrouFrou 04-03-2007 04:41 PM

Diet coke for sure!

Same question

alinnell 04-03-2007 04:59 PM

sparkling water (if that counts!). If I have to have a soda, make mine diet Pepsi.

What is your favorite drink (alcoholic or non)?

girl81 04-03-2007 05:45 PM

if calories didn't exist, skim milk. I could drink it by the gallon ever since i was a kid.

do you play an instrument?

srmb60 04-03-2007 05:49 PM

nope, do you?

alinnell 04-03-2007 06:20 PM

 aaaaaaaahhhhhh, Alan Rickman!

Mmmm, I love diet coke too.

I can play the piano well and try to play at least a little every day; I used to play drums and percussion instruments in intermediate and high school band, also took guitar lessons in high school because I wanted to be a heavy metal star  but more so because the instructor was HOT! He's still a musician currently living in Northern Cal (I won't say exactly where because someone here at 3FC might know who it is :o )

Would you rather lose your sight, hearing or sense of taste? (silly question I know...)

srmb60 04-03-2007 11:33 PM

Oooo that's a hard one. I love music sooo much but I could still read, 3FC and walk if I had my sight so I guess I'd chose to lose my hearing.

I have a meeting with my boss tomorrow about a position I applied for. I'm well qualified and have seniority and my coworkers like me. Would you still be nervous?

walking2lose 04-03-2007 11:44 PM

Honestly, yes. Otherwise I think you might go in overconfident and could even risk coming across (subconciously) as arrogant or feeling that you are entitled to the job. IMHO, that would be a turn off, where showing a little bit of nervousness shows you care about the position and want it. You are confident in your abilities and his/her perception of you as capable, but you are not assuming the sale. Hope that makes sense.

Good luck, Susan! I know you'll do great! :cheer2:

If I'm running late in the morning, I will finish putting my makeup on in the car during my 5 minute commute to work. It drives my husband crazy and I promised him if I get a new car (we are looking!), I will stop. BTW, I'm not talking about eye makeup or complicated stuff, but putting on my base (which is powder in a compact), lipstick, and combing hair.

Question: Do you ever do anything that could be potentially dangerous while you are driving? What? How often? Has it ever caused a near accident?
