What is your favorite childhood memory?

My favorite memory is of my grandfather calling all of the grandkids over to his house one night after supper and having an impromptu dutch doll (puppet) show. It was something that none of us expected and several of my cousins also say it is one of their special memories.

Childrens Birthday Parties: Do you have simple ones at home, or do you keep up with the jones and have it out (like at Chuck E Cheese, etc.?).

In the middle. Our local parks and rec dept has a skating rink they rent for $60...2 hours....unlimited number of kids. I think it's $60 well spent to not have to worry about all those kids running around my house!
