A country song, I Loved Her First -- by Heartland -- about a dad at his daughter's wedding day (I am such a "daddy's girl")-- loved it, the first time I heard it was when I was on the way to my dad's quadruple bypass last October at 4:00 a.m. Just made me all "warm and fuzzy".
I actually have a couple that really hit home with me for different reasons.
Keeper Of The Stars by TRACY BYRD ~ My wife "dedicated" that song to me when we were dating! Bought the CD for me as a gift and gave it to me on the night that I had mailed her I CROSS MY HEART by GEORGE STRAIT CD in the morning Neither of us had a clue of what the other was up too.
SUICIDE IS PAINLESS ~ Everytime I hear the M.A.S.H. theme song it reminds me of my son. When he was crawling whenever he heard that song he would come "a running' (crawling) as fast as he could...sit up and watch the tv until the song was over then crawl away. His mom used to rock him to sleep during MASH re-runs...he learned the song was on the tv before he could walk!
MY GIRL ~ My daughter's and my FAVORITE song! It is "our" song!

SAME QUESTION~
I love that song! Brings back great MASH memories (another thing of which I'm a HUGE fan). Especially reminds me of our "last MASH" party...talk about SAD!!!!
Song that means a lot to me...U2's "With or Without You" All time favorite...reminds me of a friend I lost in high school.
There are so many for me. I love music and I associate a lot with many songs. A few:
"Happy Together" by the Turtles. Hubby and I's first song.
"Band of Gold" by Freeda Payne. We used to lipsync this as kids into our hairbrushes and had a whole dance routine.
"I Hope You Dance" by Lee Ann Womack. It's exactly what I want for my children. It makes me cry.
"Brown Eyed-Girl" by Van Morrison. Only one of my 3 DDs has the brown eyes that both her parents has, so we call her that. And so naturally that's her song.
Elton John's "Tiny Dancer". Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On". Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here".
Growing up (in California), I think spring was always my favorite season. It is nice and cool and flowers start blooming and all that.
Living now near DC, I think fall is my favorite season. The weather starts to cool down, similar to spring but the ground is hard from summer and it is good hiking weather. I also really like the leaves changing colors.
ALL of them! I like diversity in my weather. I'd hate to live where it was always nice and sunny. This icky sleet and snow we just got makes me appreciate spring and the 100 degree w/100% humity summers makes me appreciate fall.
I love summer time. I love hot weather, my birthday is in the summer, the days are longer in the summer so I'm not plagued by the not-enough-daylight blues.
Who's the first person you really kissed? I kissed the guy next door that I knew liked guys so I could learn how to kiss so I'd be ready to kiss the guy that lived on the other side of me if the opportunity ever presented itself!

Hmmm... really kissed would be my boyfriend in Grade 9. Not "really" kissed would be a guy I had a crush on in Grade 7, he lived on my block, and we kissed during Spin the Bottle at a party. LOL
I look after them very well. I never let them go out to play by themselves, they have a solidly enforcecd curfew and they are never allowed to hang out with hands that run loose all over the place.
