I went on my honeymoon locally but I really think some place like Tahiti, Fiji or Thailand would be nice. I'm a bit too unsettled so a beach vacation can only go for a couple days with me before I'm ready for something else. So it would have to include a trip to another nonbeachy place. DH and I are taking a honeymoon to Costa Rica on our first anniversary. I'm looking forward to it.
I would love to honeymoon in Portugal. Don't know exactly where, but my husband has roots there and I would just love to go and explore and experience the culture and of course the food. Then maybe hit Spain and Italy too. Maybe I should start planning for our 15th. Our actual honeymoon was in Las Vegas, I know, how cliche... but it was our first time there and it's been a favorite place to visit ever since.
Same question....OR where did you go for your honeymoon?
All right ~ I'll get serious so we can get this thing moving again.
On our honeymoon, Angie and I went to Temecula, had dinner at ClaimJumper, stayed in at The Embassy Suites with all three kids. I slept in the bed with my son, she slept with her daughter and my daughter slept on a couch! The next morning we went to breakfast, walked through all the shops in town had lunch and made the 45 minute trip home. Simple ~ fun ~ easy and cheap! The "cheap" part was important at that time in our lives.

ARE YOU FRIENDLY WITH YOUR NEIGHBORS?
Temecula! I remember thinking when I was young "Who would want to live all the way out here?" when I visited near there.
DH and I had a fun honeymoon. We went to Baltimore (~40 minutes away), it was chilly so no one was there. I like uncrowded places so it was good. We went to the zoo, we went to the aquarium, we walked around. We went to dinner at some nice restaurants, then went to medieval times and drove home.
I'm not friendly with my neighbors, I'm really not the type
Do you plan on doing anything to celebrate St Patrick's day? I don't but when I was less health conscious, I'd definitely buy some corned beef and cook it up.

I know you know the area Nelie ~ I'm not sure how long it has been since you were in Temecula but to answer your question "Who would want to live there?" Evidently EVERYBODY! It is so crowded there. But for a long time it was affordable for folks. We like to go and do the wine tasting thing, very nice places.

Angie is half Irish, so we almost always have some corned beef and cabbage on that day only! Today we are having a BBQ here at my home, Angie and my ex-wife are planning the food and to be honest I am not really sure what we are having, I heard sausages...I hope so! If we do. have corned beef, it won't be the main dish.
