Yeah, we have a few imported birds. Most of them are thriving while our native birds are endangered because of the stoats etc that have been introduced :(
However, this is the griffon I meant :) It's for my creative writing. I'm writing my tutorial group a story one piece at a time :D My griffon is based on the one in the pic and it's 50 metres (164ft) high! :cool::write::fr:

Ha ha yeah, I'm kind of wondering if I shouldn't make it half as big :lol: I haven't submitted the piece yet, but...I love my griffon :D I want it to freak out the reader, well, listeners because I have to read it to my class ;)

Does your griffon fly direct to Sydney from Wellington or do you have to change in Singapore?

Singapore :( These things have a mind of their own and enjoy flying too much. With those piercing eyes and claws, I'm not going to complain. Not to its face, anyway....

Does it have flat beds in First Class?

Depends on where you sit. You get a fluffy or feathered mattress and pillow though!

Depends on whether you choose to fly First Class or not. Flying First Class gets you a mattress and pillow that is made from hand-pluck...picked feathers and fur :D

I wear a down vest - sold as goose down, but I suspect it to be Chinese duck down.

Which doesn't address the question of whether you intend to frighten your next class (as differs from First Class) with a 50 meter griffon. Whose down isn't sold in this country, a shame, really, since that 'salota down.

It is a lot of down, especially if you are in the next class which is the underside of the griffon! This is a little trickier now that my griffon has been downsized (after actually measuring, via googlemaps on my street, how tall 25 metres is!).

A giant duck? Like my griffon? ;)
