Baby granddaughter Faith arrived last night.

Good thing my granddaughter and Gary's don't live in the same area as I am sure Faith will be stealing all of Kaia and Clares boyfriends in 16 years or so.

I had cousins very near my age and we grew up almost like sisters and the best memories are about my grandfather. My grandfather had only one son, my father who died when I was an infant. Do you think my grandfather favored me over his other grandkids.....of course...they didn't know that but I did and I never let on. He would give us money to get ice cream, they got a nickel but I got a quarter and I knew enough to keep my mouth shut.

Birthday party for KAIA FAITH was wonderful...

Almost a perfect day when CLAIRE ELAINE made her grand entrance...all the oohhs and aahhs for those who had not seen her...

I was not present....although I did see her and her mommy and kidnapper in the driveway as I was leaving for home...

son wanted me to go and get our corn-hole game for the kids.

60 friends and extended family made for a wonderful day...

although a bit bittersweet with sister in law in the hospital
