Suddenly it's fall! I woke to a very cold room with the wind blowing the curtains straight out.
I'm off to the Blessing of the Animals shortly - it'll be outside because horses do not behave well going up Church steps!

And they sometimes show very poor manners if it is potty break time.

They always show bad manners at potty time. Luckily no horses or ponies showed and we were able to do the service indoors because it was ffffreezing outdoors. All pets, owners and clergy behaved well.

It is not just that they have bad manners it is where they display their bad taste. I am thinking the aisle of a church is pretty upsetting if you are trying to find a seat and have to step over horse manure.

The Oktoberfest was nice. Plenty of beer and food for the taking. Which I did!

May have to make a Costco run after church today...if we do it's gonna be hard to shop less than we usually do...

work is not good enough right now to buy toilet paper for 2012 yet.

OK, after doing my faceplant on the gravel rv site Sunday night, and then being stung by a hornet Friday Morning, can you tell me again why vacations are restful and relaxing???

The whole idea of a vacation is looking forward to going home to rest.

I need a vacation from all the rest I have been getting....

Enjoy it now, that will all go away when that second grandchild comes along.

:D Oh, I only get rest now on the days my sister watches dear Granddaughter!...

work for me is picking up soon for a bit...need $$$ as always but sure lovin' days of NOTHING to do!!!

However today is not one of them...back down to dear daughter's condo to do some more remodel work.

OK--here I am again... today we left albuquerque and going down the highway the tire tread came off the right rear tire of the truck! The tire didn't go flat and we didn't have an accident so I guess that is great! But we had to change a tire on the side of the highway and that put us about an hour behind time. So we didn't make it into Oklahoma today but are safe and sound in Amarillo. Tell me again why vacations are so nice??? LOL

Why would you want to go to Texas, anyway ?

Now play nice, LOL, Texas still has more oil than water.

In fact, the day could come when you'll be able to ship a gallon of water to Texas in exchange for a gallon of good Texas gasoline.

I hear they have good BBQ in Texas - and oil - and cows. That is the sum of my knowledge.
