I'm living in a kennel but I am the leader of the pack. It's amazing how well dogs behave with each other. People could take lessons.

Been up since six. It's very time-consuming being leader of the pack.

It sure is Ruth...hoping my step-d gets in from her trip to take her dog home today....not gonna be a happy camper here if her pup is still here tomorrow when I bring my Reba home from surgery.

Nope, Reba does not need agitation, especially from a younger mutt. My four continue to be best pals with nary a growl even at food times. The howling chorus when I leave becomes more muted and even stops in a minute or less according to my neighbours.

I'm up . Dentist appointment today and then back to sorting and packing.

Got my new state of the art hearing aids this morning. I never realized what a noisy world we live in! Do all computer keyboards make a clicking noise?

What is the brand of hearing aids you got ?

Well my pup made it through her surgery, meniscus was ok but a torn acl as expected. She does not like the cone over her head one bit! I took it off her to sleep but slept in my recliner right next to her. I think her sister is taking it worse...'lil Miss Nervous!

Gonna be a long haul to recovery!

I am getting ready to move so am trying to use up things I have in my pantry or freezer so I don't have to move them. I am making Navy Bean and Ham soup right now. Later in the week I will be making cakes ,two for the senior center and one for a work day at church.

My four are sending speedy recovery vibes to your furry baby, Gary.

Bargoo, they are AGIL and I'm very pleased. I tried them out at lunch yesterday and could follow all the conversations without their turning into an auditory mish-mash. I can also answer my cell in the car which is a plus now that we are not allowed to talk on cells in a moving vehicle. I'm still discovering new sounds today - some good and some bad. The electric toothbrush is really noisy! Who knew?

I am doing a use it up exercise too these days. Right now I'm drying eggplant and have tomatoes ready to be made into sauce or salsa.

Angie had to take reba back to the vet today as some of her bandage moved to show staples...all ok now except for the damn cone she hates...and me too!

hate-hate it when Angie applies mine when beach walking in the summer....

love navy bean soup! I make an awesome one...Pillsbury recipe!!...so good-so good!

Between work at my daughters condo and church pre-school I am finally able to start earning my way to heaven....jk....of course.....
