  • Gary, I can just picture you in your paisley shirt and bell bottoms .......not that I want to. It's kind of like seeing a train wreck , you wish you could forget it but just can't get it out of your mind.
  • HA! if only I knew how to scan!!!!

No nehru for me Ruth but my dad wore them....he was only 19 years older than me.

Ruth, you may have had a boring husband but I'll bet that you never bored him.
  • (must contain the urge to post directions in ordr to talk EZ through the steps of scanning a photo... The pull of being helpful is very strong.... Side effects of an office job...)

I always wanted a pair of parachute pants.... That's more 80s, though they showed up late 70s.
  • I read about Bell Bottoms in high school when we took a course titled "Hippies of the Sixties" who were, reportedly, rather loose with clothing.

    And other things.

    Or so we were taught.

I do own some 4.5 inch wide ties that are so beautiful that my DD wore one to her high school one day and won the award for the "Ugliest Item of Clothing." That's right, "Ugliest!" - kids understand nothing.

I'm saving them; waiting for them to come back into fashion.
  • Since we are talking about fashion "Back in the day" anybody remember ratted , teased and hairsprayed hair? If you got caught in the rain it turned unto concrete.
  • I remember my mom using the spray starch she used to iron clothes on my hair for picture day when I was in grade school...

maybe one reason I don't have much today...lol
  • O.o!
