    he's a good kid so I assume it wasn't too bad.....

    Now we know something about hot molasses in Boston. Seems we burst a tank of it a few decades ago and swamped a bunch of people. A horrible way to go.

    I can remember my dad telling us about that. We thought he was kidding, until I learned about it in history (born in Boston, raised on the South Shore )

    When I first heard of this, I wondered why folks didn't just outrun the stuff. Seems it traveled at 35 miles per hour. Kinda hard to envision.
