BillBlueEyes 03-11-2011 07:08 AM

Then I wash them.

Ruthxxx 03-11-2011 07:14 AM

I wash them first so they don't get soggy.

bargoo 03-11-2011 01:22 PM

We have a number of people belonging to 3FC who live in Japan . Pray fortheir safety.

EZMONEY 03-12-2011 07:21 AM

4:20am and still no paper...why did I even get up?

BillBlueEyes 03-12-2011 07:41 AM

Then I dry them with the dish cloth.

Ruthxxx 03-12-2011 07:58 AM

Bill, don't they stain the dish cloth?

Ruthxxx 03-12-2011 07:59 AM

Cotton or linen?

bargoo 03-12-2011 08:36 AM

Don't forget to set your clocks ahead one hour tonight !!!

EZMONEY 03-12-2011 10:43 PM

I'd like to buy a vowel

BillBlueEyes 03-13-2011 05:56 AM

If they are too ripe, they stain the cotton dishcloth. Perhaps permanently. Forcing a choice between marital harmony and properly dried strawberries.

EZMONEY 03-13-2011 09:04 AM

I love springing forward...I actually slept in to 5am.....that never happens!

bargoo 03-13-2011 09:05 AM

I can hardly stand the excitement of what Bill will do next with strawberries,

EZMONEY 03-13-2011 09:49 AM

I was messing around as Angie and I were getting ready for church a few minutes ago when.....

she used her :sklol: scary :sklol: words on me.....

:fr: :yikes: I'm almost out of make-up :fr: :yikes:

bargoo 03-13-2011 10:12 AM

Well,what a coincidence, so am I.

Ruthxxx 03-14-2011 01:11 PM

I have snowdrops!

BillBlueEyes 03-14-2011 02:07 PM

I eat them with my fingers - but seated, with a cloth napkin in my lap - as I read the morning hard copy newspaper.

Ruthxxx 03-14-2011 04:58 PM

Of course it's a hard copy! One must keep up one's standards.

bargoo 03-14-2011 06:24 PM

But aren't you afraid that you will drip strawberry juice on the paper ?

bargoo 03-15-2011 01:23 PM

Where is everybody ?

BillBlueEyes 03-15-2011 07:29 PM

Fresh strawberries, properly washed and dried, without added sugar, do not drip.

Operator265 03-15-2011 10:37 PM

Just the drip eating the strawberries.

BillBlueEyes 03-16-2011 07:58 AM

Some are obviously small enough to pop in the mouth in one gulp. Some, equally as obviously, require several bites.

The group that lies between the obvious requires judgment: one LARGE bite, or several small bites. This is a mental strain during an otherwise serene breakfast.

But I'm up to it.

bargoo 03-16-2011 12:27 PM

Just a note California strawberries are juicy.

Ruthxxx 03-17-2011 07:40 AM

Wake me when we move on to a different fruit, OK?

I eat mangoes sitting naked in the bathrub. Just sayin' ...

That brings a picture to mind that I would rather not think about.

BillBlueEyes 03-17-2011 08:08 PM

I have an amazing visual of a naked mango - calling my name.

Ruthxxx 03-18-2011 07:23 AM

(I knew that post was a mistake! At least we got started on another scintillating conversation about a different fruit!)

I bought a small watermelon yesterday.

Ah, food porn.

WebRover 03-18-2011 08:14 PM

I had a perfect pear half an hour ago. Washed, dried, quartered, de-seeded, eighthed (each quarter sliced in half), and eaten one piece at a time. Mmmmm.

bargoo 03-18-2011 09:46 PM

I ate a graham cracker a while ago.

EZMONEY 03-18-2011 10:20 PM

I took mine out and played with it tonight

Ruthxxx 03-19-2011 06:22 AM

(Getting close to the edge with that one, Gary!)

I am going to have some FLORIDA strawberries for breakfast. There are no CA ones around or I'd do a comparison tasting. I'll eat them fully dressed at the kitchen table with my cereal, OK?

EZMONEY 03-19-2011 07:22 AM

Why what are you thinking Ruth?....

Angie saw it and jumped for joy :trampo:

Is that because it happens so seldom ?

Ruthxxx 03-19-2011 12:09 PM

And that's a good thing!

If it is green and getting darker you had better see a doctor and SOON !!!!

Ruthxxx 03-19-2011 05:04 PM

Isn't that a bit late for a St. P. celebration?

EZMONEY 03-19-2011 10:00 PM

A couple of the guys at work touched them before Angie got her little hands on them
