  • Only 17 days til St Patrick's Day?

Well then, I guess it's time to break out my awesome collection of elementary school St. Patrick's Day riddles....

What is out on the lawn all summer and is Irish?

  • How do you do that highlight stuff...that is very kewl!!
  • Quote: How do you do that highlight stuff...that is very kewl!!
Once you type the words, you change the "color" to White so it matches the screen. Then, when the other reader highlights it, it shows up against the blue. You can see what is going on if you hit the "quote" button on her post.
  • Groan! What a smarty pants, even with a paper bag over your head!
    I didn't know that trick.

    I didn't know that trick.
Actually, it's the paper bag that makes me so smart Ruth......
  • Another site I'm on has a "spoiler" wrap around. It's good for not only jokes, but you can use it when discussing The Olympics or TV shows so you don't give away the plot to folks in other areas of the world who might not have seen the programs yet.
  • Quote: What burns my butt is all we hear about is how Americans must improve "productivity". Well, up at the mine, they decided to see if they could save money by shutting down the trucks for shift change. All us "oldies" told them that doing that would mess up the starters and turbos. Experience has taught us that a long time ago. But, what the heck to we know. So after experimenting for a year, wasting time getting mechanics to start trucks that wouldn't start back up, having production stopped b/c they'd go down at the fuel island, and replacing heaven knows how many starters and turbos, the little college geniuses came back to tell us that shutting down the trucks for that short a time was a really bad idea. Oh, and that our bonus checks would be smaller due to the half million dollars they blew on this experiment.
Operator-you and I could go on for hours on this topic! We decided here that MBA actually stands for Masters of Blithering Assininity because that's who's in charge at DH's power plant and has no clue how the place runs, so he allows them to waste $$$ day after day trying to do things that were proven not to work 10 years ago (remember that every time you pay your electric bill!).

Yes, I use spoiler tags on another site, too. I don't see them here though, so I had to improvise.

Spoiler tags are pretty cool though. You can use them for quizzes, too.... or just to be annoying.

Oh no, that's not the reason your bill is so high. It's because you DH and my X are paid sooooooo outrageously for doing a hard and hazardous job. It's couldn't possibly be the overpaid dumb*sses running the show.
  • Ronnie this is one of my favorites BS degree (bull sh*t) MS degree (more sh**) and PHD (Pile Higher and Deeper)
