Hi
I just got the Sugarbusters book and I fear that since they dont' want you counting, there isn't an indication of how many sugar grams per day are ideal. Does anyone have an idea how many grams equal a low sugar diet?
Thanks!

Hi Newport Girl.
Debelli who is the moderator of this board is hosting a party for s bunch of the girls on this board at the WDW marthon this weekend so I will try to answer your question.
SB does not count. The only thing we count are starchy carbs which you are allowed 2-3 a day. Starchy carbs are,wwSG bread, 1 pc, 1/2 sweet potato, 1/2 c ww pasta, 1/2 brown rice, 1/2 cereal.
CHeck labels for sugar grams listed. They should be no more than 3 grams. You really need to stay away from sugar all together. It will take a week or so to get it out of yoru system.
SB is a great WOE. I have lost 92 lbs and It is so easy to do.
Good luck to you.

Thanks for that info. It helped. But here's where I get confused: if I have a clemetine, which it seems I'm allowed, that has some sugar in it, so how do you know if you are having too much sugar? Just by following the food pyramid ( only with less starchs)? thanks again and enjoy the luncheon!
