Tomato-based sauce would probably last longer than a cream-based Alfredo sauce. For a tomato-based sauce, I'd say a week or so. No guess on an Alfredo sauce, since I'm not wild about them and don't buy them.

Mmmm pasta sauce. Now I'm hungry.

a week? well in that case I better use the tomato sauce before I open the alfrado!

They're recommended you eat them in 7 days, but I usually eat them up to 14 days after I open them.

I'm paranoid. If I think I'll have something longer than 3 days, I put it in plastic containers and freeze it.

Alfredo sauce might not freeze well - separate upon thawing. I'd never use alfredo if I was trying to lose weight.
