Thumbs up Woohoo! New Lean Cuisines!

I hope it's okay to post this link, I wanted to let those who eat Lean Cuisine know there are some new products - sandwiches!

For lunch I'm eating the Southwest Style Chicken and it's delicious!

Well, it depends. I've noticed them going up in price lately. When they're not on sale, they're anywhere from $2.59 to $3.99 a piece, depending on what you get. Like their newer "dinner selections" that give you a little more food and even a dessert, those can be pretty pricey. I don't normally buy them unless they're on sale. But I always keep calorie-controlled meals around. I buy the Lean Cuisine, Healthy Choice and Smart Ones. The Smart Ones are a Weight Watchers product, I believe.

I bought a few at Kroger this week, on sale for $2.50. They had the Chicken, Spinach and Mushroom, and the Southwest Chicken. I thought the chicken tasted really funky, and had to pick it off. It tasted great without it I liked the way the bread grilled in the microwave, too. Maybe they will come out with a meatless variety.

Default Yippee!!!

I already bought one of each I've tried the Southwest chicken and the Steak and mushroom - both of which were great!!! I bought them on sale at Kroger - the regular price is around 3$, a little pricey, but then again lean cuisine's at kroger that aren't on sale tend to be that way. I buy mine from Walmart normally - but their prices bounce store to store! I drive 20 minutes out to go to a Superwalmart, where their Dinner time ones cost 2.64, and the smaller ones vary from 1.77, 2.12 and 2.38. However - I go to a Walmart "Neighborhood Market" store literally less than 2 miles away from the super, and theirs are alot more expensive!
