Here is something we have been doing for the last week. I LOVE it.

We bought some "GLAD" serving bowls from the grocery store. They are the really small bowls, they look like little one serving pudding cups. They cost about $3.00 and there are 8 little cups per package.

Then we bought two packages of

"Fat Free Sugar Free White Chocolate Pudding" from the JELL-O Brand.

And two packages of

"Fat Free Sugar Free Chocolate Pudding" from the JELL-O Brand.

We mixed the white chocolate in one bowl, and the chocolate in another.

once the mixture was set in the fridge for about ten minutes, we filled up the little glad ware cups. We did two scoops of chocolate, then one scoop of white chocolate, and then two more scoops of chocolate on top.

They looked JUST LIKE those little pudding cups you buy from the store. And they taste really good too. It's really hard to tell they are fat free or sugar free!

Plus they are great, because they are already made, and easy to throw in with your lunch, or grab while watching a movie.

That sounds like a great idea... I have those little cups and use them for everything that I need portion control on... sour cream, salad dressings... it works good because I don't put big globs on anything I have them pre-made in the containers and grab what 1 when I need it and it's never over a serving.

I bet jello would be good that way too...a quick little snack...

Are the fat free/sugar free treats safe for children? I'm not familiar with Sweet n Low (etc) with children...anyone know?

They shouldn't really have too much of it. You're not supposed to regulate their fat intake unless told to by a dr. They need fat for their development.

They sound yummy Karilyn but sometimes i just don't fancy sweet stuff to snack on. My downfall is savoury salty snacks and boy are they fattening...have you got any low fat snack ideas for those??...

Try Jerky.. low cal, low carb, salty, and takes some time to chew.

I notice your from washington, so maybe it's an american thing. Can you tell me what it is and i'll see if I can get it over here... I'm in the UK.

If you are referring to packing the pudding in the Glad-Ware cups - yes it is less expensive.

You can buy pudding mix usually (around where I live) 2 for $1.

Those two packages mixed together will fill all the cups, usually 6 - 8 - plus it leaves extras.

I find it a lot cheaper.
