Today will be my first day measuring it out. I'm going to count the calories in the carrots, the hummus, my yogurt...everything. I've been stuck at no lower than 144.2 for almost a week. What's frustrating is that I weighed this much before I started watching what I ate and I was eating candy, chips, pizza... And I can't quite workout yet, I hurt my neck so even walking kinda boggles my neck around oddly and gives me a headache.
Hummus is a traditional food from the middle east e.g. Palestine. The cracker and celery thing comes from westerners.
I don't know if i could come at chickpeas and eggplant in the same mix. I'm a bit of a traditionalist with food. I'll mix it up if i don't have the right ingredients but otherwise i prefer to stick with original versions as much as possible.
I think most people know where hummus comes from. It doesn't matter how it is traditionally eaten, just how you enjoy eating it. I would say hummus was a big part of my initial weight loss and I enjoy it multiple ways.

I didn't see any recipes that combined eggplant and chick peas. I actually like to try different mixes. But that's what makes the world go 'round...everyone likes something different.
I haven't had a chance to make the Eggplant/Cannolloni Bean hummus yet because I'm busy preparing my traditional Memorial Day menu. But I did buy the eggplant, so I'm ready for it, probably tomorrow.
I choose to eat my hummus with vegetables because I don't eat much bread and consider veggies to be a healthier choice.
I bought a big eggplant yesterday so i can make babaganoush this week. I should wait until my hummus is all gone though. Can't wait. They are both so easy to make and so yummy.
