Stuffed Vine Leaves
A friend introduced me to these little yummies.
SS has complex health problems and has found various dietary changes make a world of difference. WRT the coating we used for fish last Saturday, she brought a can of stuffed vine leaves, more than enough for her so that some of us could try.
The stuffing is rice, onions, sunflower oil, mint, parsley, spices and salt. They're very tasty and filling. I patted some of the oil off on a napkin.
There's about 4 or 5 servings in a can for $1.97. About 220 cals per serving.
I've been eating them as a side dish as I don't suppose they are a complete protein.
I found them in the international foods section of a large grocer and am pretty happy with this new food find.
