Question re protein bars
I hope I am posting in the right forum ---
I found protein bars that I really like, they are supposed to be low carb. (They are called Low Carb Bar, manufactured by a Canadian company, so I don't expect you to be familiar with them).
Each bar provides 25 g of protein and 22 g of carbs, 7 g of fat. Total calorie count: 230.
What I am curious about - on the wrapper, it says ONLY 2 G NET IMPACT.
Would anybody know what that means?
They are sweetened with Sucralose and although the list of ingredients has some unpronounceables, I don't eat them on an everyday basis so hopefully it's not so bad.
Just in case somebody wants to comment, here is the list of ingredients:
Protein Blend (Soy Protein Isolate, Milk Protein Isolate, Whey Protein Concentrate, Hydrolized Gelatin, Whey Protein Isolate), Glycerin, Coating (Maltitol, Palm Kernel Oil, Yogurt Powder, Non Fat Milk Solids, Whole Milk Solids, Soy Lecithin, Salt, Natural Flavour), Maltitol, Canola Oil, Polydextrose, Water, Inulin, Natural and Artificial Flavour, Soy Lecithin, Guar Gum, Sucralose.
Thank in advance.
