I got 3 out of 4 right. I missed the sodium question. I guess I'm good at identifying fat and calories but not sodium

Oh I knew about it because I looked it up before. I believe the shakes at McDonald's have over 1000 calories. Don't know how you can fit that many calories into a shake but I guess you can.

Wow, I only got one right. The fat one. I can't believe the shake has the most calories! That really surprised me.

It does seem as though a chief part of the mission of McDonald's is cramming as many calories as possible into each and every food item. I don't quite understand it.

I learned the hard way about the shakes several weeks ago. It was one of the first days of spring-like weather here, and I was taking my dog for a hike around the lake. I thought I'd stop and buy myself a little treat--a small chocolate shake--on the way. When I got home and went to log the calories into Nutridiary, I learned that the small shake has 440 calories! It completely blew my calorie budget the day, that tiny little shake did....I could have eaten *fries* for that number of calories.

The only question I got right was the shake one. There is a literal ton of ice cream in a shake (seriously, like 2 cups or more of full fat ice cream go into a shake plus milk). Think about how many calories are in just half a cup of full fat ice cream and you know why the shake has so many calories. So I knew that one.

But I guess it's a good thing I don't eat out much, because I didn't do so well on the other questions.
